located just off from Gloucester Road in South Kensington. With tube stations
close by (Gloucester Road almost opposite and 7 stations within 1 mile), the
main A4 dual carriageway adjacent (which is the main road out of London and
connecting directly to Heathrow Airport) and bus stops close by (74 and 49
nearest) the public transport links are excellent. Within a short distance are
shopping areas such as Knightsbridge (including Harrods department store), Kings
Road, Chelsea and South Kensington itself. This location would be considered
very upmarket with many expensive residences within SW7. Particularly suited if
your commuting via Heathrow as the nearby tube serves the airport, the A4 road
just to the north of the hotel links with the airport and South Kensington is
the first major central London area you hit when coming in from the airport.
Earls Court would be just before SW7 but in terms of being closer to the centre
and its far more touristy feel South Ken would be considered the start of the
heart of central London for tourists. Other nearby attractions include Albert,
Science and Natural History Museums (0.1 miles), Albert Memorial (0.3 miles),
Serpentine gallery (0.4 miles), Royal Albert Hall (0.6 miles), Kensington Palace
(0.7 miles), Buckingham Palace (1.4 miles) and Westminster cathedral (1.5
