Introduction: The Montcalm Hotel London, is wonderfully located on the border of central London. Yards from Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Mayfair and Hyde Park with good transport links. Marble Arch is also the North Eastern corner of Hyde park, a large open space that itself joins with Kensington park Gardens. Hotel:
The Montcalm Hotel is a former Georgian Town House dating back to 1787. It has been a hotel since 1973 and is named after French General 'the Marquis de Montcalm'. A Nikko hotel since 1985. Its location on Great Cumberland Place is a small crescent slight set back from the main road.
A feature of the hotel is the unique duplex suites (two level) which have spiralling staircases that lead from the lounge to bedroom.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned and have a direct dial telephone with voice-mail, high speed internet access, satellite TV with pay movies, in room safe, trouser press, minibar and hairdryer. Each bedroom is en-suite with bathrobes, bath, bidet and power shower and finished in marble. Choice of King or Queen bed (twins are two Queen beds).

The Crescent Restaurant: Serves European and British cuisine. Informal ambience in a light and airy setting with extra high windows. Also known for its well regarded Japanese breakfasts. Open 07:00 till 10:00 (7.30 till 11.00 weekends). 12:30 till 14:30. 18:30 till 22:00.
Lounge Bar: Has a Club like feel and features wood panelling and a real fireplace. Serves and afternoon tea (14.30 till 17.00) along with the range of drinks which includes cocktails.

The hotel has 3 meeting rooms suitable for up to 80 delegates. The main suite is the Marquis de Montcalm Suite which is suitable for banquets an functions while the other two are suited to boardrooms style meetings.
