also the North Eastern corner of Hyde park, a large open space that itself joins

Hotel:
The Montcalm Hotel is a former Georgian Town House dating back to 1787. It has
been a hotel since 1973 and is named after French General 'the Marquis de
Montcalm'. A Nikko hotel since 1985. Its location on Great Cumberland Place is a
small crescent slight set back from the main road and at the northern end of
Park Lane. The hotel boasts a contemporary style while preserving its heritage
values.
A feature of the hotel is the unique duplex suites (two level) which have
spiralling staircases that lead from the lounge to bedroom.
In March 2010 the hotel was said to be the first fully scented hotel in the
world. Guests can choose their personal favourite fragrance at check-in.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned and have a direct dial telephone with
voice-mail, safe, free wireless high speed internet access, desk, 37" flat
screen TV with satellite channels, in room safe, trouser press, ipod dock,
minibar and hairdryer. A nice touch is the choice from 6 individual rooms
scents. Each room enjoys a complimentary newspaper, fresh fruit and water and a
turndown service. Beds are Hypnos super comfortable Kings sized beds. A fax
machine, copier and printer can be requested for in-room use.
An unusual aspect of the hotel is a bedroom especially adapted to offer low
allergen accommodation. All furnishings are specially chosen for their low
allergy characteristics and the windows are sealed to minimise outside
pollution.

Lounge Bar: Has a Club like feel and features wood panelling and a real
fireplace. Serves and afternoon tea (14.30 till 17.00) along with the range of

The hotel has 3 meeting rooms suitable for up to 80 delegates. The main suite is
the Marquis de Montcalm Suite which is suitable for banquets an functions while
the other two are suited to boardrooms style meetings.
On the ground floor is the hotels dedicated business centre where you can make
