Introduction: The Novotel Greenwich, built in 2005, is
located in South East London on the South side of the River Thames. Conveniently
sited right next to Greenwich station (mainline does not operate on Sundays).
Greenwich itself offers some good amenities with a choice of restaurants and a
more sedate feel than central London itself. This station is also on the DLR
service which serves the city of London and the Docklands/Canary Wharf area
(reachable within 12 minutes). Nearest attractions include the Cutty Sark Ship
(0.3 miles), National Maritime Museum (0.3 miles) and the Old Royal Observatory
(0.4 miles).
