Description: The Premier Inn Hampstead is a modern hotel within easy reach of the M1 and the M40 via the nearby A406 North Circular Road and with the centre of London just 15 minutes away (3.2 miles) by car or underground (Belsize Park tube opposite). To the north of the hotel is the delightful Hampstead village and just a few minutes walk and the famous expanse of Hampstead Heath also very close by. Hampstead Village is a collection of shops, pubs and coffee/tea bars. Bustling with shoppers by day, and thriving with nightlife centred around the bars at night. Local attractions include Keats House (The residence of the famous Poet from 1818 till 1820. The house was his inspiration for some of his best known poetry. He also fell in love with the girl who lived next door, Fanny Brawne) (0.3 miles), Hampstead Museum and Burgh House (0.5 miles), Camden Market (1.2 miles), London Zoo (1.2 miles), Abbey Road Studios (1.4 miles), Kenwood House (1.4 miles) and Madame Tussauds (2.1 miles). There is a high street with a good selection of shops and bars along with a cinema starting from the hotels location and all along Haverstock Hill. This part of Hampstead is known as Belsize Park and is very much a sort after residential area. A mix of expensive houses and flats. From this point to the North the areas are known as London Suburbs while to the South would be regarded as the start of Central London.
