| Description: The Queens Hotel
is located in South London, some 6.9 miles from Central London, and close to
Croydon. This is a refurbished Victorian building that was first used a hotel
way back in 1856. Less than half a mile from the hotel is the Crystal palace Concert Bowl
and a similar distance to the Crystal palace national Sports Stadium. Crystal
Place museum is 0.4 miles away as is Crystal Palace Park which was the worlds
first theme Park. This location is also convenient for tennis at Wimbledon with
the All England tennis club 5.7 miles from here. The hotel is a Victorian building and dates back to 1854 when it was built to serve visitors to the original Crystal palace.. Bedroom amenities include Tea & Coffee facilities, en-suite facilities, Trouser Press, Windows that open, Wake Up Calls, Central heating, Hairdryer, Direct Dial Phone, Colour Television, Iron & Ironing Board (on request).
