Other local places of interest include the adjacent Green Street, which is well known for stores specialising in Asian goods including fabrics, Asian fashions and gold jewellery. Also worth a look is the London Gas Museum (2 miles), Gallions Reach Shopping Centre (2.2 miles) and the famous Millennium Dome/O2 arena is 2.7 miles way. The hotel is on the opposite side of the City of London to Central London so the main tourist areas are some 7 miles from here, to the west.

Historic ground that once watched the likes of Bobby Moore who captained the 1966 world cup winning England team. The hotel is actually part of the Dr Martens Stand. On match days the West Ham United Hotel rooms become private boxes with beds stored away in cupboards.
