Introduction: On Bath Road (part of the A4 which goes
into central London) on the north side of the airport close to the main
vehicular road entrance into the central part of the airport (terminals 1,2 and
3) is the five star Radisson Heathrow Hotel. This part of the Bath Road is the
location for several of the larger hotels around Heathrow with 7 other major

the Southern Perimeter road inside the airport grounds is the former Heathrow
Visitor centre (now the Heathrow Academy) which remains a popular spot for plane
spotters with a view over the runaway and a small shop selling model planes. 0.4
miles along the Bath Road to the West is the three Magpies pub where food is
served. A similar distance to the east is the Heathrow bowling centre. The major
business trading estate of Stockley park is 2.1 miles to the north. Nearest

Windsor Castle
some 7 miles to the west and accessed by the M4.
