is situated in the heart of Covent
Garden, one of the most visited area for tourists in London. The location is
just a short walk from Oxford Street (350 yards) and less than half a mile from
both Trafalgar Square and Leicester Square, making this a truly central
location. The Radisson occupies a section of Monmouth Street that is called
'Seven Dials' owing to the the fact that it is at the junction of seven road's
with a central obelisk where a sundial tells you the time from seven different
parts of the world. This is the heart of London's nightlife and what is known as
Theatreland, where some 50 theatres serve the capitals visitors. Within 300
yards of the hotel are no less than 10 theatres, the closest of which is the
Cambridge theatre, and the world longest running show the Mousetrap is at the St
martins Theatre 150 yard away.

The Radisson Edwardian Mercer Street hotel is a hip and modern hotel within the
boutique feel of Covent Garden.
The bedrooms at the hotel place an emphasis on comfort and relaxation with muted
shades, tactile fabrics and feature glass furniture and
built-in wardrobes. In contrast to the modern furniture are deep soft handmade
carpets and each room boasts genuine art and artefacts from around the world.
The furnishings consist of dark Wenge wood, Italian leather and metal chairs and
bespoke wall coverings.
Each guest room makes use of calming, muted shades with tactile fabrics and
furnished with original art. The modern amenities include air-conditioning, minibar,
refrigerator, free WiFi internet access, trouser press, satellite flatscreen TV with pay movies, ironing boards, direct dial phone, safe and tea/coffee
tray. Bedroom's are also supplied with an iPod docking station.
Bathrooms are clad in Sicilian off-white carrara marble with Jacob Delafon
suites and bathrobes. All rooms have a turndown service. Each floor is accessed
by a keycard for added security.
Deluxe bedrooms are larger than standard and come with extras such as
extra spacious seating.
The hotel has eight luxury suites which views over the Seven Dials junction. They come
with designer furnishings and materials, high end entertainment system/DVD
player and triple aspect windows.
'In hotel' mobile phones are available on request. In-room dining/drinks menu
operates around the clock.

Also onsite is the Dial bar and restaurant, the interior is restrained yet
luxurious, a classic contemporary mix of chocolate leather and aubergine velvet.
Finished with deep sofas and sleek wenge tables and high windows affording views
out onto the local area. The Dial restaurant serves contemporary European cuisine
with classic dishes and has an entrance right on Seven Dials. The menu uses the
freshest British ingredients.

called the Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten Hotel until December 23rd 2010. Thehotel
was named after Lord Mountbatten of Burma until its name change of 2011 to
Mercer Street. The
hotels original name was 'The Shaftesbury'
