| Description:
The Radisson Stansted hotel is right next to the only passenger
terminal at the airport. A walkway which is fully enclosed connects the terminal
and the hotel and takes approximately 3 minutes to walk. The hotel is less than
3 miles from the M11 motorway which connects with both east London and the M25
London orbital motorway. The M11 itself is now linked to the airport via a
dedicated dual carriageway making the road links seamless. Owing to its its
location there are no amenities immediately surrounding the hotel, save for the
landside facilities of the airport itself. Just outside of the airport grounds
is the Birchanger Services by junction 8 of the M11 where there are some fast
food outlets and small shops. Nearest place of interest is probably the 400
years old Gardens of Eastern Lodge just past Great Dunmow at 2.2 miles. The Radisson Stansted is purpose built modern and contemporary airport hotel. The bedrooms are themed in 3 different styles. These are Urban, Ocean and Chilli. Urban: fiery and vibrant with striking, sensual red furniture and dark wood. Ocean: Brings the calm of the sea with blues and jade greens while the furnishings has a sense of the water.. Chili: Bright colours with off the wall furnishings for a chic feel. Business class bedrooms and suites have views of the airport and runway. They also have free newspapers delivered and robes and slippers supplied. In-room amenities include high speed internet access (WiFi), LCD televisions with satellite channels and movies, clock, fridge, direct dial telephone, desk, hairdryer, a personal laptop safe and minibar, iron and trouser press and tea/coffee maker. Bedrooms are also air-conditioned and all are en-suite. The hotel has four individually designed restaurants. These are: The White Tower Restaurant and bar: The heart of the hotel featuring the spectacular ‘Wine Tower’, 13 metres tall & housing 4000 bottles of wine. The restaurant is located around the ‘Wine Tower’ which automatically invites guests to collect their first drink or snack at arrival or the last coffee or juice. Filini: The Italian Lifestyle, a wide selection of Pastas and Pizzas served straight from the stone pizza oven. The restaurant serves the freshest of produce sourced in Italy. The New York style grill & bar: Serves trendy dishes straight from the Grill in a cosmopolitan atmosphere, the great atmosphere for a business lunch or intimate dinner. Prime cuts and meats prepared in the American traditional way, char-grilled and served with chips and simple, healthy salads. Tapaell'ya: Authentic Tapas and Paella served in a relaxed modern atmosphere. Food is accompanied by Spanish wines as well as selected wines from some small and newly discovered vineyards. The Radisson Hotel Stansted Airport offers over 900 sq. m of conference and meeting space across 26 meeting rooms. The main meeting room which can be divided into 3 separate meeting rooms can host state of the art meetings for up to 400 people. Onsite facilities include a health and fitness centre fully equipped with gymnasium, swimming pool, spa, sauna & steam rooms and a spinning and aerobics studio. The spa has 5 treatment rooms and a hairdressers. WiFi is available at the hotel. |
