Introduction: The Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel
offers some fantastic views of Heathrow airport with many of the rear facing
rooms (along with the club lounge) offering a view of the the Northern runway.
Always a popular choice among plane spotters. Most other hotels in this section
are on the opposite side of the Bath Road, this hotel however actually backs on
to the airport grounds and the northern perimeter road. The hotel is served by
local buses 105, 140 and 285 (free within the
freeflow zone).
Almost opposite the hotel is a McDonalds Restaurant while the bowling alley is
just over half mile further down to the Bath Road to the East and incorporates
another fast food restaurant. There are a few
local shops in the surrounding area, the nearest being along Sipson Road just to
the West. The hotel entrance is actually from within the airport grounds and you
must approach via the roundabout next to Heathrow police station.

spotters thanks to its great views over the airports northern runway from many
of the bedrooms and from the Club Lounge. Its also the closest hotel to the
