| Description:
The Richmond Hill hotel offers a friendly and informal atmosphere and is situated
very close to the Royal Park of Richmond. Richmond Park is 2,500 acres in size and
famous for its herd of red and fallow deer. The hotel is actually a Grade II
listed building that dates back to 1726. The character of the building is still
very much in place. Only a short walk from Richmond’s bustling
town centre and easy access to Heathrow Airport, the M25, M3 and M4
motorways. 8.1 mile from the centre of London proper. Excellent base for
sporting venues such as Twickenham (1.8 miles) and Wimbledon (3.6 miles). The bedrooms amenities include en-suite facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser presses, direct dial telephones, BT Openzone Wireless connectivity, satellite televisions, in-house movies and hairdryers. Room service is 24 hours. Onsite is the traditional English setting of Pembrokes Restaurant, featuring comfortable, high backed chairs, International cuisine and fine wines. A-la-carte and table d'hote menus present a large and varied choice of dishes including sizzling flambees cooked at the table and chef's specialties. On Sundays, the lunchtime hot and cold carved buffet is always a family favourite. Alternatively guests can enjoy a large variety of restaurants in nearby Richmond-Upon-Thames (approximately 1 mile) or visit the award winning two rosettes Restaurant "Gates On The Park" next door at The Richmond Gate Hotel. All guests have access to Cedars Health and Leisure Club facilities at the neighbouring hotel, designed to offer a unique environment for fitness, rest and relaxation.
