| Description:
The Royal Park Hotel is located
just North of central London. The hotel is formed from three
1840's grade II listed townhouses. In a very popular area for a
budget class hotels being just a very short walk from Hyde Park
and surrounded by shopping, restaurants and other amenities.
Some of London's best known areas are close by with good
shopping at Queensway, Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Edgware Road
and Notting Hill. Westbourne Terrace is a much used route for
taxi's so flagging a black cab from here is no problem. Its also
a short walk to Paddington Station from where you can take the
Heathrow Express which is a direct train service to Heathrow
Airport taking around just 15 minutes. Nearest attractions
include Albert Memorial, Kensington Palace, Madame Taussauds,
Portobello Road market, London Toy and Model Museum and
Serpentine Gallery. There are carefully selected antiques throughout the building, hand-embroidered linen fabrics and a unique 19th century gasolier graces the reception area giving the air of a fresh, light-filled home. Each of the 48 air conditioned guestrooms has been individually designed, decorated in soft Regency style period colours with crisp white linens, with furnishings selected by a top antiques dealer. Bathrobes, slippers, designer toiletries and hand made mattresses await every guest, and most rooms feature four-poster king beds. Modern facilities include flat screen television with satellite channels and broadband Internet access, individually controlled air conditioning and electronic safes. Every bedroom features an antique writing table. There are two telephone lines per room with modem connection, DDI numbers and voicemail as well and a fax machine or laptop are also available. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, electronic safes. The hotel offers 24 hour room service, and serves complimentary drinks, canapés and afternoon tea. Breakfast is available on request. Guests can relax in the library, drawing room or garden. The concierge desk can offer information and arrange tickets to attractions and shows. The Green Room, with its centrepiece Victorian table, can be used as a meeting facility for up to fourteen people. |
