The Windmill On The Common

Description: Located actually on Clapham Common in South London is the Windmill on the Common. Connecting to North London from here is not a problem via nearby bridges at Vauxhall, Chelsea, Battersea and Wandsworth. Clapham itself has a thriving central shopping area centred around Clapham High Street. The area has many pubs and bars. Clapham Common itself is a large open space of around 200 acres. The common has three ponds as well as a paddling pool and Europe's oldest bandstand. Both Clapham Common and Clapham South tube stations are close by at less than half a mile.

The Windmill on the Common hotel has a long history with the building dating right back to 1665 and is partly also a 'Young's brewery' pub.
The hotel bedrooms are all en-suite and feature air-conditioning. Bedrooms additionally have a plasma TV with digital channels, WiFi, heating, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, wakeup service/alarm clock, trouser press, work desk and ironing facilities. Beds have a duvet.
