| Description: Thistle Lancaster Gate London is a Grade II listed building set in its own private gardens overlooking Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. The hotel has been extensively modernised to include air-conditioning to public areas and all guest bedrooms, without compromising its period ambience. Room facilities include Bathroom Amenities, Clothes Press, Tea / Coffee maker, Colour TV With Cnn, Direct Dial Telephone, Hair Dryer, Radio, Refrigerator (50 rooms, must be requested, subject to availability), and Safe. Room service is 24 hours. The hotel is located close to Marble Arch, Oxford Street, Queensway, Notting Hill, Edgware Road and Kensington Church Street. These areas are all well known for great shopping, cafes, Bars and other amenities. The hotel has internet consoles in the lobby and also has an onsite fitness centre. Also onsite is the CoMotion Brew Shop, an all-day coffee bar offering deli-style foods and freshly made sandwiches as well as the Faya Mediterranean Restaurant, with a wide range cuisine and styles from around the Mediterranean. The restaurant overlooks the garden and allows guests to dine al fresco on the terrace (weather permitting). |
