Introduction: Thistle Piccadilly is as central as it
gets. Officially the centre of London is Charing Cross but in practical terms
the true centre is
Piccadilly Circus which is just 200 yards from the hotel. The best of
London's nightlife is on your doorstep with the likes of Leicester Square and
Trafalgar
Square within 400 yards. Piccadilly Circus is perhaps best known for 2
things, the Eros statue and the neon advertising signs, but there's way more.
Its also home to the Trocadero centre, Ripley's Believe it or Not museum and
Planet Hollywood. If you are looking to be in the centre of everything then this
is the place to be. The whole area around the Thistle Piccadilly Hotel is buzzing throughout the day, night and into
the early hours with a large number of clubs, bars and restaurants in the
immediate vicinity. Immediately north of the hotel is
China Town, names after its
large Chinese population and Chinese restaurants and stores with Soho and its
renowned restaurants adjacent to China Town. For shopping you have the long and
winding
Regent
Street with exclusive shopping areas just off of Regent Street with the
likes of Bond Street.
Nearby places of interest are too numerous too mane but a selection of the
closest includes the Comedy Store (0.1 miles), Sports Bar Haymarket (0.2 miles),
National Gallery (0.2 miles), Ben Uri Art Society and London Jewish Museum of
Art (0.3 miles). There are 10 theatres within 250 yards.
