Introduction: The Comfort Inn Edgware Road is located on
the Northern border of central London on the busy A5 main road. The A5 Edgware
Road is a long straight road first built by the Romans stretching from Marble
Arch all the way to Holyhead in North Wales. The original road went as far as
Shrewsbury (Watling Street) and in the 1800's was improved to the full stretch
out to Wales. This particular location can be seen as the gateway into the
tourist heart of London while also being suitable for access to North London and
the rest of the UK given its good transport links. Within half a mile is the
mainline station of
Paddington

busy and bustling and has a good selection of shops and close by is the Church
Street Market with its many and varied stalls and shops many of which sell
antiques. As you move South and hit
Maida Vale you enter very
much the residential areas while walk to the South and you will find more and
more shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and other amenities.

Arch and the heart of London is less than one mile to the South. At Marble
Arch is the start of
Oxford Street
(0.9 miles) one of Europe's mostly dense shopping areas and a must for the
