| Description:
The Lennox Hotel London
is located just off from Notting Hill in a relatively quiet
residential street. A short stroll from the chic and popular
shopping at Notting Hill and a just a little further to
Kensington (0.6 miles) and the great shopping, bars and restaurants there
too. Also well worth a visit is Queensway which is close by and
home to the popular covered mall called Whitley's. This location
is on the very edge of central London on the western border.
Transport links are good with all forms of public transport well
served from the surrounding area. This location is also very
close to Ladbroke Grove, venue for the annual Notting Hill
carnival. Just 500 yards away is the wonderful
Hyde Park with its rich history,
boating, horse riding, serpentine gallery and wide open spaces. Nearest attractions include Portobello Road
antiques market (0.1 miles), Kensington Palace (0.6 miles),
Linley Sambourne House (0.7 miles),
Leighton House Museum (0.9 miles), Royal Albert Hall (1 mile),
Natural History and
Science
Museum (1.3 miles),
Oxford Street
(1.6 miles) and
Buckingham Palace (2.5 miles). The Lennox is a privately owned 19th century Victorian townhouse with a white faced stucco facade that has undergone restoration. The hotel manages to combine the classic style and traditional service with the contemporary and modern. The hotel staff are on hand at the reception 24 hours a day. The hotel offers twenty individual styled bedrooms, elegant in style, and each boasting designer bathrooms. Drinks and snacks are available 24 hours a day and can be served in one of the sitting rooms or the comfort of your bedroom. Room facilities include air-conditioning, Bath/shower, Egyptian cotton bed-linen, high quality bathrobes and towels, direct dial Telephone, Hairdryers Available, Radio, Safe Deposit Box, CD player, mini bar, In Room Beauty Treatments and flat screen TV. The suites are suitable for a family of four (extra charges may apply), some suites have a split level. Some rooms have a four poster bed. For the business traveller there is a mini business centre as well as a meeting room (capacity 50 theatre style) and WIFI connectivity is available in the hotel (charge). The hotel features the Lennox Bar with its intimate atmosphere. The fully licensed bar has a 42" plasma screen. The bar doubles as both a lounge and the hotels breakfast room and in addition serves coffee and late night snacks. In the breakfast room guests can enjoy a choice of Fruit, Yoghurts and a range of Cheeses and Cereals. The hotel also serves a full English breakfast. Open weekdays 07.00 till 10.00, weekends and Bank Holidays 08.00 till 11.00. |
