| Introduction: Located on the
Western end of Chiswick High Road is the Chiswick Moran Hotel. This places the
hotel close to the roundabout (Chiswick roundabout) that marks the intersection
of the M4/A4 and A406 North Circular Road. A clear run by road from here to
Heathrow Airport is just 15-20 minutes. The M4 also links up with the M25 London
orbital Motorway which in turn gives links to the M11, M1, M20, M23, and M40
motorways. Therefore well placed hotel if you need access to both central London
and also convenient links to the rest of the UK. The A406 also provides easy
access out to the Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena venues. It also a useful way
of orbiting London without having to go through the busy central areas. Just 0.7
miles from Kew Gardens, a large botanical gardens on the South side of the River
Thames, which is and popular London visitor attraction. Chiswick High Road
itself is a very long busy road with shops, bars, restaurants and other
amenities all the way along it. It leads to King Street which is also a very
busy and bustling shopping area. Less than half a mile to the North West is
Gunnersbury Park and Museum, the museum is devoted to local history and
archaeology, costume and fine art and set in 200 acres of open space which
includes a boating lake, football pitches, pitch-and-putt golf and a bowling
green. Hotel: A modern and contemporary designer style hotel created from a former office block. Bedrooms enjoy plenty of natural light. Amenities include air conditioning, clothe care facilities, laptop sized safe, coffee/tea facilities, high speed internet access, flat screen TV with pay movies, hairdryer, work station/desk, en-suite facilities (most rooms have walk in ‘Rain Shower’ and double ended bath). Rooms are contemporary with a 'retro chic' style. Room choices includes single, doubles and twins. Non-smoking rooms and wheelchair adapted rooms are available on request but subject to availability. Dining: Onsite the hotel has the Napa Restaurant where the cuisine is British classics and tastes of the West. Open, Breakfast: weekdays 06.30 till 10.00, weekends: 07.00 till 10.30, Lunch: noon till 14.30, Dinner: Monday to Saturday: 18.00 till 22.30, Sunday: 18.00 till 22.00. Children's menu available. The hotel also has a fully licensed bar with an excellent range of drinks which include Irish Stouts, English Ales, cold European lagers and west coast cocktails. More: Business travellers will appreciate the meeting facilities that can accommodate up to 75 guests. Facilities include audio visual equipment, High speed internet access, Natural daylight and blackout facilities, Private dining and Wheelchair access. The hotel has its own gymnasium with cardio weight training equipment. The front reception is staffed 24 hours a day. Other hotel services include porter assistance, Dry Cleaning / Laundry and left luggage storage. |
