carried out under supervision of designer Alexander Kravetz.
Re-opened in Autumn 2007 after a £20 million pound refurbishment which raised
the hotels rating from the previous

sold at a UK bar. A Russian billionaire bought a Methuselah (equal to 8 regular

this of £4,375 and the guest left a tip of £10,625. In July 2010 an American
female guest left £500,000 worth of jewellery in the room safe after checking
out. The find was reported by the chambermaid.
