| Description:
The Windermere Hotel is centrally located in Pimlico close to Victoria
station which has a direct train service to Gatwick Airport (Gatwick Express).
First built in 1857 and formed from two separate Victorian Houses. Warwick Way
itself has a good selection of shops and cafes while its just 3/4 of a mile to
the wonderful shopping to be found on Kings Road, Chelsea and Sloane Street.
Other nearby attractions include Westminster Cathedral (0.5 miles), Queens
Gallery (0.7 miles), Buckingham Palace (0.8 miles), Tate Britain (0.8 miles),
Westminster Abbey (1 mile), Houses of Parliament (1.1 mile), London Aquarium
(1.4 Miles) and the London Eye (Millennium Wheel) (1.5 miles). The Windermere is was the winner of the Visit London Tourism Awards 2003 and London Tourism Awards B&B of the Year 2000 Finalist. The hotel offers a 24 hour front desk and concierge services. Bedrooms are individually decorated and amenities include Cable television, in-room safe, hairdryer, hospitality tray and direct dial telephone with a separate modem point.
