Description: The County Hotel is located towards the
southern end of Epping Forest on the outskirts of North London and 9 miles from
central London. The hotel enjoys a relatively quiet location. Woodford is
largely a residential area close to the North Circular A406 dual carriageway
which is an orbital road around the Northern section of London. The A406
connects to the M11, M1 and A40/M40 motorways. The M25 is easily accessed from
here via the M11. Local attractions include the
Queens
Hunting Lodge (2.1 miles), William Morris gallery (1.5 miles), Vestry House
Museum (1.6 miles) and Epping Forest District Museum (5.6 miles).
Bedroom amenities include en-suite (either bath and shower or just a shower),
tea and coffee facilities, cable television with in-house movies, direct dial
telephone with data connection and hairdryer. Additionally all the rooms at the
County Hotel Woodford have high speed internet access. There is a limited room
service.
Onsite the Hotel features the Panache Restaurant serving modern international

till 21.30 (closed Fridays and weekends).
The Statesman suite has a capacity for up to 150 guests and can be converted
into 3 smaller rooms suitable for events from 8 to 30 guests. Photocopying, fax
and secretarial services can also be provided. The County Hotel holds a civil
ceremony wedding licence.
The hotel reception is manned 24 hours. Dry cleaning and laundry services are
are available. The hotels public areas are air-conditioned and have WiFi access.
