This major venue in north Kensington opposite Hyde Park has been the home to The Proms since 1941 and see's well over 300 other concerts and events )including sports) during each year. In 1950 the Von Trappe Family sung at the Royal Albert Hall (the film the Sound of Music was based on their lives).
