The London postcode of E3 is a part of London called Bow. Bow is perhaps best known for Bow Bells, the church bells that is you can hear from the place you are born then you are a true Londoner or cockney. However Bow Bells are actually with St Mary Le Bow Church which is in Cheapside EC2, so not actually this location or postcode. Just on its eastern edge is the major dual carriageway of the A12, which runs from the Blackwall Tunnel right up to Great Yarmouth on the east coast. The A11 runs through the heart of Bow and E3 which connects Stratford to Aldgate in the City of London. Very much a residential and lower middle class area.
