The London area of NW8 is called St Johns Wood. This is a largely residential area, very much an upmarket and sought after area with a cosmopolitan population. There is a large number of Americans resident here due in large part to the local American School. St Johns Wood NW8 has one of the UK, most expensive and affluent roads at 'Avenue Road'.
