It location is South of the River Thames and the nearest crossing point to the North of London is through the Blackwall tunnel. The area boasts a large park, Greenwich Park which covers an area of 74 hectares (183 acres) and has a small herd of deer and great views of the River Thames and its located on a hill. The area has many attractions which include the National Maritime Museum, Gipsy Moth IV ship (sailed by Sir Francis Chichester), Fan Museum (The first Museum in the world to be devoted entirely to all aspects of fans) and Cutty Sark Clipper Ship. SE10 is also the location of the Royal Navy College. Perhaps the two places of interest that are most closely associated with Greenwich are the Millennium Dome and the Greenwich Royal Observatory.
