HOW TO GET TO EMBANKMENT STATION FROM THE AIRPORT:
From Heathrow Airport (central Area):
The tube network runs from underneath the terminals. Make sure you get on
the Piccadilly line and travel to Gloucester Road Station. For the
second part of the journey you need either the Circle or District Lines
which will take you to Embankment Stations. (about 50 minutes)
From Gatwick:
From the station at the South terminal take any train that goes to
Victoria. Once there transfer over to the tube section and then you want
either the Circle or District line for Embankment Station. (around 50 minutes)
From Luton:
Take the Shuttle bus from the airport to Luton Airport Parkway Station. (5-10
minutes)
The First Capital Connect service will take you to Blackfriars station and
then the lines as above for Embankment. (55-60
minutes)
From Stansted:
Any train that goes to Liverpool Street Station is fine. Once there just
make your way to the circle line and ride out to Embankment. (around 70 minutes)
From City Airport:
A little awkward if you want to do this by train. There are taxis right
outside the terminal which may prove your best bet though a lot more
expensive. By train take the Docklands Light railway to bank Station.
You then have to make a very short 5 minute walk over to Monument station
which is just down King William Street. From Monument use the Circle or
District line to get to Tower Hill Station and then make a change on the
same lines for Embankment Station.
