Stayed here at Wimbledon weekend. In fairness the hotel is clean, pretty well maintained (though the bathroom kept flooding) and ideally located for Earls Court tube station. The reception service is somewhat average. Staff appear to be flustered and overworked trying to keep the queues down and there was often only one person on the desk. The breakfast however is a joke. The staff don't know what they are doing. Delivering wrong items, ignoring requests and being generally slow. The only time they moved with purpose was to clear the buffet at 11am on the dot as they want to end their shift. This despite the fact we waited over half an hour for our hot item to be delivered which never turned up until after 11am meaning we had no accompaniments from the buffet. When I asked for something as simple as some cutlery and milk because my table had not been laid despite us being told to sit there, you would have thought from the servers face that I had pooped in her kettle. This was not a one off as we experienced the same on both days and other guests around us were also showing their frustration. \n\nI was not even given the opportunity to bring this up at reception as the receptionist was harassed and busy, rushing our checkout to serve others. Usually they ask, how was your stay, or something to that effect, but she was too concerned with not being able to print my invoice. I was sent a satisfaction survey the day afterwards and pointed out these issues. One of the questions was would you like management to contact you about the issues. I ticked yes. It's two weeks later and never heard a thing back. Don't suppose I will now.\n\nGiven the price of this so called \

My husband and I experienced an extremely intolerable night during our 4-night stay at ihg London-Kensington because of uncleaned bedsheet, and when I dressed up in the morning, I saw a dead worm on the bedsheet. so disgusting and unbelievable! I didn\u2019t approach to the counter because the clerks were not so friendly and I already got away from the dirty bed. After returned home, we contacted the guest relation department of ihg group to claim this case. At first they asked us to disclose our personal information (even so, we still choose to stand out to share this with all of you), and ihg representatives just said sorry and expressed their confidence to ensure rooms will be properly cleaned. Ok what about us?? After we reminded them of our jeopardized rights, they finally offered 10, 000 points to my husband\u2019s ihg Rewards Club account, which was estimated to around 5.86% for the room rate of Indigo London-Kensington. It felt humiliated. Were we begging? We immediately turned down the proposal to end this unpleasant talk. As to guest relation department of ihg, they didn\u2019t respond further which shows how they care about their guests and how sorry they are for the uncleaned/uncomfortable accommodation. Maybe they will say sorry to other guests when same thing happens.

review: It is a very noisy hotel on the streetside. The clients are mostly young and make noise at night. Breakfast is poor without eggs and the fruitjuices are more chemical than natural. Attantion for your billpayment. The hotel changes the pounds into euro and they charge you for that. In this way I lost over 20 Pounds. Those fine English hotelmanagers!!! I never go there again.
