I have stayed at the bw Peckham a few times. It is excellent value with fair priced clean rooms with a professional team looking after the hotel. If you are visiting London for the first time you may not realise that the best way to see London is by Bus. 100m from the hotel is the best stop for buses to go to East, West and Central London - every few minutes.

The Hotel is not close but the bus line is and with anlittle effort all is good. Services offered are ok but the room is not clean and twice was not cleaned at all. Internet doesn't work despite the connection and the television has no remote control (the one in the room was a clone impossiblento set up).

Hotel lovely & clean.
Book a room for my 3 Kids, aged 23/21 & 14, good size with a double & single bed.
Booked a small double for my husband & myself, clean but very tight, bed up against the wall.
Air conditioning was great, weather was hot.
Bathroom small but perfect/clean.
I would stay there again but not in a small double room unless I was travelling alone.
There was a Pizza oven, small bar & breakfast area, only had use of the bar.
Didn't include the breakfast because my 3 kids are vegan.
Bus stop outside the door, straight into London, the bus ran 24 hours which was great.
Bought a 1 day bus pass at the shop near the bus stop for 5 sterling which lasted for the day, great value.
Staff lovely & helpful, gave us information re: where to eat, sent us to a restaurant which was Persian just down the road, you entered it through a shop & could bring your own alcohol drink, best meal of the trip, 20 sterling ahead which included 2 drinks each ( teas/coffees/smoothies & non alcohol cocktails brilliant ) and 7 courses of shared dishes, we rolled out.
Great value for money.

Myself and two friends stayed here Friday to Monday to attend a Hyde park concert we got there late on Friday evening the gentleman on the reception was very friendly bright and cheery.
The room itself was bright, clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs

The public transport from this hotel was so convenient and easy. Bus stop just down the road for which you could use your debit card to pay and the particular bus we caught ran 24hrs a day which was really handy

Would definitely stay here again.

In theory if this hotel was a budget hotel it would be great however it was not, it was quite expensive considering the area. The rooms were so tiny and the corridor reminded us of a storage facility. The curtains never covered the windows so the light was beaming in at all hours. The bathroom was dirty with bugs apparent however the room was clean. Headboards were very stained and off putting. The Only Fools and Horses theme is quirky but neither here nor there so a bit pointless. Parking can't be prebooked so it caused a lot of stress worrying whether I would be able to park or not as wouldn't have been able to leave the car on the streets around there! Wouldn't recommend really but not much choice in area so.

Our stay was very good except for the inaccurate billing they charged me in my credit card. They over charged me twice with £198 and £90 without explanation. When I complained this to the manager, he said no over charged in my system yet, in my credit card bill it appears London Peckham Lodge. The complaint was not resolved even I complained with my local bank.

Booked this as fans of only fools and horses lovely hotel and staff helpful and friendly. We was in the second floor but there is a glass lift to get up there as well as stairs room was clean but small especially the bathroom you couldn’t dry you in there after a shower. The bed is the most comfortable bed I ve ever slept in while I ve been away. We didn’t have any food while we stayed but you could smell food being cooked and we saw other people eating and looked nice. We went to the bar of a night and drinks was reasonable especially for a hotel would definitely return.

Me and my friend stayed for one night. The lady on reception was lovely and made sure our rooms were next to each other. Both of our rooms were small, but couldn’t fault how clean they were. I asked for an iron and one was delivered to my room within 5 minutes of asking. We both has a good nights sleep here. Good value for money. Also Good to have the pizza restaurant on site too!

Room was cosy (is that the pc word for small?) and you could not be a hotel holidayer in the room we got in. We both couldn't walk around at the same time and it was a squeeze to get our stuff out - and we didn't in the end we just lived from suitcase.

On a side note can I just point out the scaffolding has no impact on your stay - some people literally just have to complain! The workers were not even working on the place so it was not a big deal. Air-conditioning was a win as we were there when it was pushing 34 degrees. We didn't eat at the hotel so no comment about food apart from there's a perfectly good lidl and morrisons around the corner for a cheap breakfast.

Staff were friendly - apart from the one who questioned me to if I was sure I was locked in the bathroom - more on this later, but no, I didn't pretend to be locked in for the dramas.

The location was amazing - while we were touristing around London we could get to all the tourist bits with ease. However, a word of caution - as we went further into Peckham as two young women we began to get the overwhelming feeling of being unsafe - broken down vehicles, graffiti everywhere, garbage lined the streets and everyone seems to have this look in their eye that they were probably carrying a weapon. People were screaming abuse at each other across the street and yeah. Think grad theft auto. Anyway back to the hotel

Hotel needs to invest in some soft shutting doors and maybe some wood in the hallway, the doors boom shut which you can hear at all times of the night an the hallway echos said boom around.

Beware: The shower kept flooding (or attempting to) so I don't often lock the bathroom door, but it's a good job I was not alone. My friend wanted to nip out to get some snacks and we'd already booked someone to look at our shower. So I hop in, lock the bathroom door in case they think I left the shower on to prove it was flooding not that I was actually in it. Get out, get dressed and oh. I can't open the door, so I figure it was my hands being wet, so I dry them more and I still can't get out. My friend returns and Im like 'mate, Im stuck! ' so she tries to penny trick to get me out with no success. So we're trying to go to the West End at this point so Im worried we're not going to be getting there without a quick visit from the fire brigade to take the hinges off. Anyway Long story short they have a special key to get people unstuck. The next morning the person who got me out, my knight in shining armour, asks me if I would really got stuck, because it apparently never happened before! The answer is yes, I actually got stuck. I was not being dramatic.

Stayed for one night, arrived to find the hotel covered in scaffolding and building works which was not mentioned at the time of booking. At check in staff were too busy chatting between themselves rather than tend to their guests. The hotel was noisy and facilities basic. Very disappointed - not the usual standards expected from a best western. Would not recommend and shall not be returning.

I have no complaints about this hotel. Evening

The people on the front desk might as well have been elsewhere; and indeed seemed to be for much of the time.

Our room was small but clean; the shower-room was adequate and spotless, with sufficient towels. I like the quirky ‘Only Fools.’ inspired decor. And our room was air conditioned; a big plus at this price point.

Important though: the booking site we used specified two types of room at different rates, ‘with a window’ or ‘without’. Really! We booked a room with a window; we were lucky and got a room with a window. But others in our party ended up without. When they complained,
Management stated that ‘their’ distinction is king-size room or normal room; the window - they told us - is pot luck. So beware.

.

Hotel under repair. Could not determine where it was or that we had reached our destination. Name not clearly visible.
lift not working
Internet down during night.
No electricity early morning. But was quickly resolved.
Dimly lit corridors
No porter, must carry your own luggage
Receptionist responded to problems as best as possible. It's an old model hotel guest house/room. Rooms were clean with en-suite toilet bathroom.
Far out from city but bus service available.

I came in with a group of friends for 5 days. It's near the supermarkets Aldi and Morrison, a bus station and a train station, 30 minuts away from the centre of the city. A calm area.
The hotel has a restaurant with meals from 5:50 to 11 pounds, to take care of your budget. The cleanning lady do a great job keeping the room clean. Dana, the recepcionist, it'a really nice lady that speaks Spanish to help out tourists, really polite.

Relationship quality- price it's adequate, I recommend!

Ms. Dana made her best, very friendly and helpfully. Provide a great service and speak Spanish.
Bus stop nearby (left side 50 meters), 30 minutes to London
Train station (Peckham Rye) not so far as well (ten minutes far, walking)
Hotel is a little noisy because old windows and bad isolation.

Booked two nights for weekend away and to go to a concert
On arrival we were surprised to see the entire building clad in scaffolding, as there as no mention on booking that building work was being carried out.
When we eventually got in to the car park ( don't expect a multi story) we went to book in to be told our room was not available until around 3pm, ok so we will go to the bar, pooh no bar doesn't open until 5, but we found some pubs local and went for a wonder,.
When we returnned we were given to smallest room in the world ever fact.
The hotel was tired and dirty.
Staff were rude and not interested in any issues we raised
When the bar eventually opened it ran out of beer
Very poor avoid like the plague.

A very relaxing one night stay. Beds were really comfortable. Air conditioning in rooms and windows could be opened. Bus stop nearby. Got from hotel to London Bridge in 30 minutes. Dining room was a little “canteen like” but service was very swift. A lot of people dining in the evening. The pizzas looked good. Scaffolding over the front and work going on in the hotel. Renovations have to be carried out sometime but didn’t seem to interfere with the running of the hotel. Would stay there again.

The walls of the rooms were paper thin and I could hear word for word the residents on either side of the walls. Residents in Q, were up all night talking on the phone. I slept very little.

The food was poor, cheap quality. The restaurant didn't know what Gluten Free was & the man at check in was cryptic with our simple questions asked such where is the best place for parking? The check in and out was slow.

I would never ever stay here again.

It's not amazing but at about £50 a night for 2 people and being so close to centre of London (via Peckham Station, about 10 minutes walk away) it's certainly worth it.

Plus everyone is very friendly and helpful.

We got free breakfast with our booking which was nice but probably not worth the £10 you'd have to pay at reception if it was not included. But there's plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast.

There was a grocery store and loads of restaurants within walking distance.

The bed was 3/4 bed not a double bed, you don't have much luggage as there isn't room for much else besides the bed in the room.

The staff was friendly. I stayed with my daughter in a twin room
The rooms are small but ok for one night
We happened to have very noisy neighbours at 6.30 in the morning!
Very thin walls!
The breakfast was nice and overall the cost was not bad
We managed to park on the street around the corner which is free between 6.30pm and 8.30am.

We were two America seniors with an 12 year old granddaughter in a triple room ( located in a new building just outside & behind the main historic looking hotel which was disappointingly covered in scaffolding ). A good value given London high prices. We liked this hotel- the staff was exceptionally nice & helpful (especially Mr Rui), yes the rooms are tight but functional and quiet, good breakfast &. Could order non English breakfast of just eggs and bacon. Found a wonderful Italian restaurant Caravaggio 5 minute walk west highly recommended. Found two buses that got us directly into either #12 Trafalger square or #343 the London Tower. Good Wi-Fi and hotel bar. Recommended.

.

This hotel was a great value. There is a bus stop, restaurants, and market very near by. Parking is a problem but apparently that's the whole London area. Very nice breakfast. Clean but very small rooms.

the room very naice and very clean.
Every request was taken into consideration to solve any problem and make you
feel at ease.
I just want to say that breakfast was perfect for someone who has no problems. But for ciliac people they are not equipped, in fact they lacked sweet and biscuits and other products or these people suffering from this disease.
The very professional and staff.

Had a 2 night stay here. We were greeted by a helpful and friendly reception team although local knowledge was not wonderful.
Our room was clean but tiny and, maybe because of the size and lack of windows, had a slightly musty smell, though certainly not bad.
Full English breakfast was reasonable and the continental had decent choice.
A slightly disappointing aspect was when the rooms were cleaned, the cups were turned upside down ready for use, but they hadn’t been washed !
Overall, for the price though, not bad at all.
