Disliked: There was broken furniture, the floors were not clean and the hallways were really tired. Not a particularly pleasant apartment. When I arrived the concierge was 'on a break'. And when I checked out, same again. I had to leave my key on the desk.

Liked: This is a two bed apartment so it's quite large. Double and single in one room and single in the other. Large sitting room/diner/kitchen. Reasonably clean but see below.
Disliked: Woolwich is not nice. The apartment was ok but very basic and walls had some marks from scuffing. Television remotes all no batteries. Towels were old. But it's not too bad if your expectations are modest.

As I said before no real complaints, clean, warm, comfortable, plenty of hot water. Others have said accommodation was dirty, well not at all, a little worn around the edges maybe, but not dirty.

Even though I was apprehensive after reading other reviews I decided it was the most convenient place for me to stay. I most say I was supposed when I unlocked the door to the apartment, it was a lot bigger than I expected, it was warm clean and spacious. The decor was maybe a little tiered and could have done with a lick of paint, but as for dirty and grubby, not at all. Over all the apartment was well maintained, clean, comfortable with plenty of hot water, though the showers could benefit from new heads. I was happy enough with my stay that I've booked again this week. The only real minus point was having to chase them all week to get the receipt.

Disliked: The bedroom blinds did not close there was a lot of light in the room, the door handle in the en-suite came off in my hand. The bath in main bathroom was silty and I felt it was not clean enough to use, kitchen table was filthy No saucepans or microwave dishes, kitchen hand towels or tea towels, heated towel rail in main bathroom did not work.

Disliked: The place was filthy, I couldn't even bring myself to use any of the plates/cups etc provided. The bathrooms were disgusting, blinds/curtains were broken. Floors were dirty. It was horrible. We also didn't feel safe at all and the lifts were scary to use and stunk of urine. We paid £198 for two nights and for that amount we expected something nice. !

Not what I expected - disappointed. I would not stay here again if I am perfectly honest. It was basically a block of private flats that looked like they had seen better days. In the lounge and main bedroom the blinds did not close and in the bedroom they were just hanging off. In the second bedroom the window looked out onto the brightly lit hallway and again no curtains! The television picture was shocking and the whole place needs some money spending on it. I wish we'd had pays double and stayed in a hotel. The only positive was the bed was clean and comfortable.

Liked: The regular concierge, Bashu, was most helpful and went out of his way to help me in any way he could, including trying to fix the television.
Disliked: No indication of where the car park facilities were. As a visitor to London, I spent some considerable time trying to locate the car park. Eventually, I had to park in multi storey and walk to reception, where I was guided in. Also, the concierge was not a fluent English speaker, which posed a few problems.

Just no. I cannot recommend this accommodation to anyone. the website is so misleading. The experience started with our arrival at a very unpleasant residential tower block with a security door and tatty reception. The concierge seemed very confused when we arrived and spoke almost no English. I ended up speaking to the apartment owner on the phone to get access to our rooms. The apartment was on the 9th floor and entrance was through a external corridor where the wooden floor had been ripped up and pilled in a corner. The apartment itself did not look too bad on first inspection but this was a very thin veneer. The bed was old and lumpy with a nasty stained headboard. The shower was scaled and dirty with no adjustment. The towels matched at least but felt very secondhand. The lounge / kitchen area was ok but the cutlery was stained and everything felt a bit old. One positive was a nice view over the Thames for here! The two flats on either side were obviously residential and had animals on the balconies. There was noise from babies crying, televisions and dogs. I did not feel particularly safe here and if I hadn't been travelling with a male colleague I don't think I would have stayed at all!

Tired apartment The apartments is in need of a refurbishment and a good deep clean. The shower door and walls need a bit of elbow grease and cleaner to remove the badly marked water stains. The bedroom was dusty, the lighting was poor and did not work in one of the bathrooms. The lift has covers missing/broken from the lighting. A pool of water greats you outside the apartment door; due to lack of drainage

Disliked: It's not the cleanest of places. The apartment looks like it hasn't been dusted in months. The sofa beds had hidden dirt in them when opened up. The bottoms of the curtains were disgusting.

Hotel Sky line view at the fraction of the cost I booked for a single person, 3 night stay at Vista View Apt in Woolich during a busy convention week near Canary Wharf. While most hotels were full I found space available here under a search for B&B. To my surprise an excellent nightly rate I was offered for a penthouse sized apartment during the 3 night stay. I would recommend it again for anyone commuting for short stays to from London City Airport Airport.

Not very bad but coukd be better It was a nice place to stay even though the company got a digit wrong in my booking details and refused me entry at first. The security guard I met was unable to speak English so this made communication very difficult especially on my first day. The apartment is full of dodgy looking-characters which made walking around kind of unsafe but it was ok in the end. There were times I went out and couldn't gain access to the main door because the security guard walked off somewhere which left me standing in the cold outside waiting for about 45mins once. If the security should move around, there should be a way of residents being able to gain access through the main door as one might be running away from danger only to get stuck outside and at the mercy of hooligans. Generally, it was a nice stay but a few things could be better.

Spacious apartment that just needed a bit of tender loving care My husband and I stayed here for one night when we went on a Tall Ships Cruise at Woolwich Arsenal. I would read that the place was dirty and several other negative comments. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment had been cleaned and the linen on the beds was immaculate and laundered professionally (something I was worried about). The windows needed a clean on the outside and there were a few scuff marks on the paintwork and skirtings (only to be expected in a rental flat). The towels were a bit like you'd borrowed them from a mate who'd run them through his washing machine, rather than pristine hotel standard but they didn't smell - just a few old stains on the shower mat/towel which wouldn't come out in a normal wash and two black towels with which to dry yourself. The description said tea and coffee making facilities but this consisted of running water and a kettle. We bought our own tea, coffee & milk fortunately as we weren't staying Long. There was also no tea towel or dishcloth so worth bringing these along if you plan to do a lot of washing up. The immersion has to be put on for hot water (at least one hour) so we just washed at the bathroom sink rather than try to use the two showers supplied (and although supplied with leftovers of shower gel, shampoo and soap, it might have been difficult trying to clean the showers without buying the necessary equipment). All in all, a spacious flat with a double bedroom, single bedroom, two bathrooms with shower, a large kitchen/dining/television area, toaster, microwave, television and a few pieces of cutlery (only one teaspoon), plates, cups and glasses. I mended the vertical blinds as they looked as though someone who didn't know how to use them had been there and they were broken in places. For the price paid (£89) it was an excellent place to stay and certainly one we'd consider again - although next time we'd make sure we brought lots of essentials and maybe our own towels if we were staying there for a few days.

You get what you pay for Not the greatest place to stay in the world but for 5 blokes on a footy weekend it was the ideal place to crash. We wanted to book in early which took a bit of discussion (there was a language barrier) and a few calls to the "boss" However everything was sorted to our satisfaction.

Dirty! Dirty! Dirty! Good location with beautiful views, good value for money but oh my goodness how dirty it was! What made me laught was the fact that the check out time is 11am and you cant check in any earlier than 3pm due to housekeeping. "Guests wishing to check in prior to 3pm must arrange this in advance. If early check-in is possible, a charge of £25 will be incurred." What a laught! What housekeeping?? It didn't look like housekeeping spend any time there cleaning except changing our clean bed linen. My shoes were sticking to the kitchen floor and you could visibly see a huge sticky patch of some sort that was left after previous occupants. There is no way I would take my shoes off in there ever! I doubt it very much there was any mopping done prior to our arrival. Doors, furniture, surfaces, windows and I can go on were absolutelly filthy. Inside of the kitchen cupboards with pans was visible mice excrement. Would not stay again unless it had a proper spring clean from top to bottom!

Positives - concierges were lovely and really helpful, great river views, central location, spacious apartment with good facilities for example fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, plates and glasses etc. And good value for money. Bed linen clean and lovely moderen furniture. Negatives - whole department needed a deep clean. It was not terrible but just needed somone to clean it throughly. There were cleaning products there but didn't really feel like doing this for a one night stay! The television - we only could get one channel on it but didn't bother us much as we were going out. The cleanliness was the real thing that let it down really but it was quite a big thing as wouldn't really be happy using the shower or cooker until it had a proper clean!

Liked: Close to Docklands Light Railway, secure parking (which I had to pay extra for) not a bad view at night
Disliked: Location misleading as it states Greenwich but is Woolwich, tired room in a tower block for immigrant students, dirty shower and flooring, balcony a disgrace with dog dirt on our balcony and all over the next balcony, all corridors stank. Overpriced very poor value would not stay here ever again or recommend. Feel totally ripped off as I could have had decent hotel for the same money.

Liked: The apartment was well located for local shops, the Docklands Light Railway and overground train services. The ability to park in a secured car park at a very reasonable charge was appreciated. There was a fantastic view of the Thames.
Disliked: The apartment itself was a bit tired - the en suite door wouldn't close, the shower cubicle was dirty and the shower head in the main bathroom needs changing. Kitchen units are ready for replacement and the tea towel supplied left fluff on everything. General air of needing a good clean and copious amount of bleach.

Disliked: This apartment is not in Greenwich as suggested by the address on the website. My immediate impresssion was the apartment & furnishings looked ok but on further inspection the apartment was in need of a good clean. There were what appeared to be nicotine stains and dirty marks on the bedroom door and other walls, in the living room there were cobwebs between wall and ceiling, the shower cubicle was dirty, the television had no signal, one of the windows seemed to be broken. All in all not to the standard expected, especially for the price paid.

Worried initially that we couldn't contact concierge to get key but on arrival, he was there within 5 minutes. Rooms were warm! and inviting & perfectly adequate for our needs. Plenty of space. some photos of bedrooms would be helpful instead of too many reception pictures! Unable to use dishwasher due to lack of tablets so for a Longer stay; take a couple with you, also recommend a teatowel in case you don't use dishwasher. Expected corridor to be noisy but not at all. Very happy with level of security in apartment block. Close proximity to a couple of supermarkets very handy for self catering.

Good value for money and excellent customer service I stayed with Vista apartments for my 25th birthday. 2 weeks before I was due to stay there I had constant feedback from various members of staff and they were happy to answer any question I had. When I arrived at Vista apartments ( I was 3hrs late due to getting lost) the manager was friendly and inviting and had waited patiently for me to arrive. I was then shown my room which was slightly different to what I had booked due to the boiler breaking but they provided me with a similar room which I thought was great as it was a Friday night and must of took a lot of organizing! I was shown room by room, which was very modern and very clean. Could not fault it at all. Over all I had a great time staying at Vista Apartments and I will definitely stay there again.

Woolwich vista we picked this accommodation for its location to a dance college my daughter was auditioning at and was just round the corner which was great. Concierge was helpful and the room had a great view over the Thames. Our only criticism was that it took a Long time for the room to warm up, hence we were sat watching television with quilts wrapped around us. The apartment was a lot bigger than we expected. so overall quite please with our choice.

Stay at the Vista Stayed here with my father on a trip to London to see my sister who just had a baby. The Vista is central to everything in Woolwich which is a really lively and diverse working class area of east London. Coming from Scotland which is much more mono cultural it really was a welcome change. It is also close by where my sister stays at Royal Arsenal which is just over the main road and is more of an upwardly mobile professional type place. Decent trendy new pub there called Dial Arch if the more 'down to earth' pubs in Woolwich aren't for you.
The Vista is a converted office block now comprising residential apartments i. E. Most people actually live here. It is quite large and loads of people coming and going during the day but quiet at night.
View of the Thames was fantastic from the ninth floor. Apartment and communal areas well maintained. 2 bed apartment had a bathroom plus an en suite which was ideal. Checking in not really a problem if you phone an hour before arrival like they request! Overall great value for money.
We weren't really on a sight seeing trip but the Docklands Light Railway and train station is a stones throw away for easy travelling. O2 not far either.

when we arrived we was a little worried by the area! but we asked for parking and was given a key for the car park and at the top of the public car park was a separate car park with shutters for customers of the vista apartments which made me feel at rest leaving my car! we then went to our apartment all very worried and excited on what to expect!
when we entered we could not believe what we got for the price! we got an apartment that sleeps 6 and it was like a pent house the view was great everything was clean! it worked out 55 pounds each! everyone I was with agreed when ever we visit the o2 arena we would try and book this place! obviously its not the Ritz but my god we was over the moon with it the view was amazing! we didn't need to use reception or anything so cant comment on the service but we had no problems what so ever and there was some one always at reception! it took 5 minutes to get to the o2 arena from our apartment! iv seen other reviews on this place and some was not good which made me worry! but rest assured any one looking to book this apartment you are in luck!

An experience I won't repeat I was contacted on the day of arrival asking what time we were due to arrive which filled me with confidence that someone would be around as it was a Sunday.
On arrival there was nobody to let us in the front entrance, after about 10 minutes a member of staff arricved and let us in. We opend the front door to the apartment and to my amazement the place was filthy dirty, beds had not been stripped from previous guests, bathrooms had not been cleaned and the place was freezing. The cleaners arrived to do a half hearted job in fact inside the kitchen cupboards look as if they have never been cleaned.
The bathroom extractor fans were going all night Long even with the lights off. The furniture has seen better days and the whole place needs a revamp.
On the positive side, the location is well situated and has local places to eat and drink. We were going to the O2 arean and I was surprise how easy it is to get there and back.
The standards are poor and I would encourage anyone considering booking to try somewhere else.

Woolwich Apartment is in a huge block of flats in the Centre of Woolwich. A few metres from the main street, next to Sainsbury's and a few minutes walk from the Docklands Railway and the busses to Greenwich. Friendly welcome. Lot of space in my apartment for a single traveller. Great views to the River and Woowlwich was a revelation - lively, access and Britain's first MacDonald's too.

over priced for what looks like a council block of flats. Very over priced £149 per night, looks like a council estate block of flats, was told to park in sainsbury's car park, then a friendly security gaurd on the evening agreed to let me park in grounds as I was in a rush he really went out of his way to help! #44; but different security was on in the next day and I was woken at 8. 45 am to move my car! the flats shook when trains went past only plus point inside the flat is lovely if it was in a different area it would be great, however it's current look from the outside would be more fitting for only fools and horses nelson mandela house!

Liked: I liked the location of the apartment, the size of the flat and the friendliness of the staff. Also, the manager called me personally to ask me whether we had any issues regarding apartment.
Disliked: We struggled to get basic service such as hot water. Even though all the stuff were friendly and I appreciated their hospitality, some of them seemed a bit unprofessional at times. They might need some sort of training on customer service.

Liked: The view from the flat.
Disliked: The flat was cheaply renovated. There was only one uncomfortable settee with a bigger area given to the kitchen in the living/dining space. One window frame was broken and did not open properly. Ventilation was poor and with no air conditioning on a hot day it was very stuffy. Only quilts were given for sleeping although the rooms were very hot. The quilt itself was torn and falling apart. The television did not work. Would not want to stay any Longer.

Liked: I ended up here as all hotels in the area were booked. The apartment cost the same as a hotel room and would have represented excellent value if I had used the available facilities (2 double bedrooms + sofa bed, kitchenette etc.). The apartment was clean and had all the necessary facilities (including working Wi-Fi included in the price).
Disliked: The area felt very seedy and the apartment building was extremely unattractive although the apartment was ok inside. Although the standard was generally fine there were quite a lot of signs of wear-and-tear, e. A mysterious hole in the wall in the bedroom.
