I stayed at this particular hotel in most of my trip to Slough. Preferred this hotel due to its close proximity to the train station. I have to admit this is not the best hotel I stayed in but it tick all the boxes for my usually short stay. \n\nBig shout out to Mr. Sharma from the front desk who went out of his way to change my room due to broken air-conditioning. As ihg member this meant a lot when it come to customer satisfactions.

Check in/ check out was quick and staff very polite and professional. Service was very good.\n\nCar park on site and managed to park fine for \u00A314.\n\nRoom very clean and bed comfortable. \n\nRooms are noisy, door and windows are thin.

Hotel is clean. Food just English breakfast even no ham or cheese what my kids love. But is shame to this hotel we came at night with kids no car park space. We went to reception girl asked if we coming by car we said yes but she even not say any word that drop off is 20 minutes only and after that you get penantly \u00A3100! check-in take quit Long plus took luggage on floor 6 so take us 23! minutes to going out and find another car park but anyway week later we get parking charge notice! I tried to contact hotel manager but he was very unhelpfull and unpleasant. He said is sign on car park which you can't see when you coming 11 at night and parking bar is open wide! When I asked why staff not informed us he hang up yhe phone! I not recommended this place at all!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while we visited from Belfast for going to Legoland. The hotel was very clean staff friendly especially Idele I think her name was who made a massive fuss of our kids and it would not be the same had we not have met her she was so lovely and family orientated! Big thank you to her ! Rooms very comfortable and very clean and nice breakfast hot selection. Thank you ! Claire charlie riley bailey and cleo.

Overall enjoyed our 2 night stay as family of 3, room clean & comfortable adequate for our stay, can be a little noisy outside but we do live rural ! Staff lovely reception/bar restaurant. Bar prices ott and limited, breakfast sufficient, we would stay again fast check in and out, parked both days with no problems.

The room was clean and comfortable, spacious although we had sofa bed in the room as well. The staff very pleasant and helpful \nThe shame part was 1, food limited choice and over priced, 2, drinks overpriced, 3, having to pay extra for parking but not guaranteed a place and people also parked in the disabled places without having blue badge. \nThe food, myself didn't think much off it, my wife was O. K with it so was our son.\nI would recommend it, maybe find somewhere outside to eat, not after along day do you want to be going out again, so make do.\nAgain the very nice people, thank you all.

Cannot fault the superb staff at the hotel! \nThe hotel itself is in a convenient location right by the station and the rooms are good for the price.\nIdil on reception was lovely, and provided an ice bucket and glasses fro our pre Ascot champers without us even needing to ask! Kept our picnic in the fridge too. Very helpful and charming. More hotels need Idil.

Marysia and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. When we had some issues they were on top of it and even gave us advice on how to get around London. \n\nThe location is prime as it\u2019s right across the way from the rail station. Believe it or not, but it was not\u2019t very noisy. It\u2019s a short train ride to London (about 20 minutes express), Windsor (about 5 min) and Heathrow Airport. You do not need to rent a vehicle as public transport is fantastic and easy. Thanks for helping make our stay an enjoyable one!

Idil at reception was very helpful and friendly. Parking was a major issue. Charging 14 pounds per night, with limited spaces. Room was clean and good for a short stay. Breakfast was average. Free Wi-Fi which didn't work in the rooms and not the best in the lobby. Stayed as it was close to family.

Rooms - average\n\nParking - circa 20 spaces out the front + absurdly expensive\n\nSituated in a rather run-down area of town by the feel of it \n\nWe attempted a stay after a day out at Legoland with our children but ended up leaving and driving back to Colchester efore we settled in \n\nNoisy trainline behind the hotel - pretty offensive to say the least.\n\nIn short, somewhere I would stay if I couldn't find anywhere else in all honesty.

Fantastic service really helpful from Alban, bar supervisor. Food was great - good choice on menu. \nParking limited and expensive but staff were really helpful. Would recommend as good alternative to Windsor location.

We booked a family room for our overnight stay and requested an additional cot. When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff and we're booked in very quickly and easily. Our room was located on the 4th floor and was easily accessible by both the stairs and the lift. In the room was a lovely big comfortable double bed, a fold out sofa bed which was already made up for our 4 year old who was extremely excited about staying in her own hotel bed and at the foot of the double bed was the baby cot complete with mattress cover and thin duvet. The room was well light and clean with a lovely bathroom with shower cubicle (No bath but this was no issue for one night). The breakfast the following morning was great with a huge array of hot and cold foods to choice from and plenty of teas and coffees. We were provided with a high chair for the baby and a puzzle page to keep the older one entertained. All in all it was a lovely stay and could not grumble for the price of it. Just a shame there was an added charge for parking.

We stayed at this hotel as a family for my sons DofE Gold presentation at Buckingham Palace this week. We stayed a few years ago and were impressed and returned again to be wonderfully welcomed into a clean and relatively new refitted hotel. The bonus to this hotel is its location, walk out of the door turn left and you are in to Slough train station, a 20 minute ride into Paddington and you are in the heart of the city. Breakfast's were ample and covered all the options you could think off.\n\nNothing was too much trouble for the staff, from front of house reception to the cleaning staff, could of paid double and not received this level of care. A member of staff called Idil on front reception went out of her way to ensure our visit was great. She was exceptional with all visitors, if ever someone was meant to be in the hotel receptionist business she was a prime example of someone in the right career. Nothing negative to say, great visit. We look forward to visiting again very son!

+ Great location 100m from railway station. Regular and frequent trains to Windsor and London Paddington. Day return to Windsor with Seniors railcard \u00A31.90. Paddington Travel Card with unlimited use of rail and underground \u00A310.40. Also good for Twickenham visitors. Room very good. Breakfast more than adequate. Evening food very reasonable and well presented. Staff very helpful and accommodating. \n- Parking very limited. Rooms on railway side may be more noisy. Wi-Fi didn't work for me but did for wife! My settings?

I had written a glowing review about this place in 2012 and a lot of it is still true (location, friendly staff et al). However when I visited in April I was told Wi-Fi will not work in the rooms (and barely works in the lobby as well). I am checked in again in June and have been told its unlikely to be fixed by June either (very nice of them to do so). Since I work while travelling and am there for a week I may still stay if I find a way to Wi-Fi using hotspot. I have been staying here for ages about ten times before this and this is the first time I have run into an issue. I do believe Wi-Fi is part of the holiday inn express contract to its contractors so the hotel should fix it son,.

altthough we visited with a large group of 36 people everything was taken care for. Perfect service at the desk and friendly people. Room and bathroom clean. Room not big but sufficient. Breakfast simple but tasty and enough (buffet). Coffee could be better.

Friendly staff, will sort any problems quickly and professionally. Rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast is a basic cooked one but still nice. Parking limited, as they have a small car park. Overall a nice place to stay for a few nights.

This is the best budget hotel we have stayed at the staff are fantastic idil, Claudiya, abhi, katy, justyha very very Friendly and brilliant with the kids they are a credit to the hotel. It is right next to train station which is very handy. We visited Legoland and it was about 10 minutes drive away we will definitely be coming back son \uD83D\udc4D\uD83D\udc4D\uD83D\udc4D.
