Three of us stayed here in late August during a short stay in London. Check-in was very smooth: although we had arrived early, we were allowed to check-in an hour earlier as the room was already made up. As we had signed up for ihg Rewards, we were each given a free drink to enjoy at the bar.\n\nThe room was slightly smaller than the pictures show. With the sofa bed unrolled, there was barely enough space for us to maneuver around. The room and by extension the whole hotel showed signs of age, with paint peeling in many areas. Nonetheless, there were noticeable attempts to maintain the place, as the (small) toilet was clean and the beds made up very properly. Housekeeping in general was very friendly and thorough.\n\nPerhaps the best draw of the hotel is its prime location in the Kensington area, specifically the area around Gloucester Road - clean and safe with plenty of restaurants around. The hotel was only three to four minutes from the Tube, with connections to the Piccadilly, Circle and District lines - however, its lack of step-free access can make it difficult for those with heavy luggage and near impossible for wheelchair users. It would be easier to access the main thoroughfare via the indoor pub, but it is only open in the evenings, not in the mornings, afternoons or even late at night.\n\nWiFi at the hotel is fine, except on the day of our check-in when it was down - the engineer called down had fixed it by midday. We wanted to store some luggage in the hotel for a month before we returned from a trip to continental Europe, but we were told that there was a limit to the length of time luggage could be stored there (around 3 weeks), and an additional \u00A330 had to be paid. In addition, when I had liaised with hotel staff prior to our stay, we were informed that we could not do so as we did not have a hotel booking with them upon our return to London - standard practice for hotels but helpful to know.\n\nAll in all, if you are mainly looking for a hotel with a good location, this is a pretty good choice. Service here is also quite good. But expect hiccups and bruises during your stay.

We booked a room for three people in July 2019. When we arrived at our first room, there was literately no room between the other beds and the toilet, because of the third sofa bed, blocking the area to move in the room. This was literately touching the tablE! Nevertheless, the water in the bath in that same night was extremelY hot making it impossible to shower, and there were hair inside the bath - disgusting.\n\nwhen we told the \

This hotel features air conditioned, modern, and comfortable rooms. It is one block from the Gloucester Road tube station, which makes it very convenient. They have a nice breakfast buffet. If breakfast is not included in your hotel rate, be sure to purchase vouchers when you arrive to save money.

review: stayed at this hotel what can I say apart from excellent the staff, food and rooms were all very nice I would stay here again. Had fantastic time at the hotel and in London close to the tube station and tour bus so easy to get to all destinations. THANK YOU Holiday Inn.

review: Wow, what can you say about perfect, Perfect staff, perfect location, Breakfast well what a wonderful choice to get you ready for day out in London. Our room was left clean every time we came back, the bed and pillows was like sleeping at home, Late check out was no problem.
