We stayed on night before our flight. Fortunately only one night as the the 2 rooms we were allocated were tired and in need of repair and decoration. The mattresses had seen better days. We got there there about 7pm and did contemplate eating in the restaurant but that had the appearance of a canteen devoid of atmosphere or warmth, we drove down to the harvester down the road.

The hotel provided a well aired, clean room with plenty of room for the meeting. Drinks were available. I would recommend the facitities.\nStaff were polite and we were not expected to pay for parking if we left our car registration at the front desk.

1st room was not clean and the toilet was hanging off the wall. The 2nd room was ok, but the shower was faulty. The response from reception was that the cleaning staff would look at it. No offer of another room so I could shower before.

I am really sorry Holidayinn, but although staff are lovely, food and drink is good, the rooms are far far too small. I felt like I was staying in a caravan. The windows are high and small. It felt very claustrophobic. Almost like a prison cell.

Allowed bookings without informing a wedding party was there, no effort given to reduce volume when I complained I couldn't sleep. No apology given, or offers to rectify the problem, door locks constantly failed, had to go to reception every time I wanted to go into.

We stayed at this hotel prior to going on holiday, booking in was good, parking for the car straight forward but when we got to the room we were very disappointed. It was clean enough but so small you would not believe, the bathroom had to be walked.

Met here this morning for a business meeting with a guest who was staying at the Holiday Inn Luton (Jtn 9 M1) and enjoyed a 'large' Starbucks coffee from the concession in the similarly large, light and airy reception area. Will be making a return.

Liked: Air con in the room, good selection for breakfast. Clean and functional room.
Disliked: Lack of information given. Had to ask when breakfast was, where pool was and how to access it etc etc. Menu was very limited for evening meal meant we had to go elsewhere late at night due to them not catering for food intolerances on the smaller menu. A simple info sheet in the room would have saved anxieties and meant we had a better stay. Fire alarm went off at 7am both mornings of our stay. Why no extractor fan in bathroom? just a hard to see note asking for doors to be shut to prevent steam going in smoke detectors. Lots of niggly problems that could easily be rectified.

Had a great time last week, great food ( I would highly recommend the halumi kebab). many thanks to the manager Thomas, and Tiggy for their services. We've spent most of our time at the swimming pool which was also really nice! See you next month!

For a Holiday Inn Id expect more. The room was disgusting. The bathroom floor was not clean, the table next to the bed was filthy, the light fittings were full of dust and also filthy, walls were filthy, carpets filthy, corridors dirty and doors scratched beyond.
