My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend when we got married in nearby Marylebone Town Hall. It was a brilliant experience from beginning to end, the reception staff and concierge staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Everyone was great on the day of the wedding, everyone who came to help me get ready were let up to the room when they arrived with no problem, we were offered refreshments and help and a car was arranged for us. After the wedding we enjoyed relaxing in the room and recovering! I would definitely recommend staying here, lovely room and restaurant/bar, great staff and a brilliant location. Thank you for a great stay.

Nice hotel in an excellent location. The room was too small. Very helpful staff. We shall definitely come back. Except for the small room, all was very good. We shall recommend The Mandeville to our friends

.

My recent four-day stay at the Mandeville was so perfect, I wish I could have stayed at least twice as Long. All the staff I encountered were welcoming and helpful; my room was spacious (I reserved a superior-plus room but received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe), beautifully appointed, and sparkling clean; the hotel was calm and well-ordered without being in the least stuffy; and the location was perfect: central and upscale. I loved being a stone's throw from St. Christopher's Place, Selfridges, the Wallace Collection, and the lovely shops, boutiques, and cafes of Marylebone. Also enjoyed strolling up to beautiful Regent's Park and down to Mayfair.

Among the things I esp. Appreciated: The concierge was able to help me get me a ticket to a sold-out show; and the bathroom in the deluxe room was so wonderful, with a separate, spacious walk-in shower as well as a large soaking tub.

For my next visit to London, it would be hard to imagine staying anywhere else!

We recently spent almost two weeks at the Mandeville. It worked perfectly. The location is fantastic. The hotel is near great restaurants in Marylebone and a short walk to the Bond St. Tube. Our room was a decent size with windows to the street, so it had lots of natural light. Very nice bathroom. Service was very good. Great to have both an espresso maker and a kettle for such a Long stay!

The Mandeville is in Marylebone, 2 minutes walk north of Oxford Street and Bond Street Tube station but sufficiently far away from that habitual mayhem to be quiet. Paddington Station is 10-15 minutes by taxi. All of the major sights of central London are within easy walking distance or, at most, a short Tube ride. So big tick on convenient location for a tourist.

Check-in was friendly and efficient. We had just arrived on an early morning flight so no room available but were able to freshen up, leave our luggage and return later to find them in our room.

The room 221, a Superior, was spacious and tastefully decorated by West End standards. The bed was extremely comfortable with high quality linen, there were two comfortable armchairs, a writing desk, plenty of space for luggage, a good sized wardrobe and reasonable size bathroom (in-bath shower) with excellent water pressure and quick hot water. Also a Nespresso machine and tea making. With two large windows onto Mandeville Place, the room was light and airy but there was little street noise.

Breakfast, included in our rate, was excellent with a wide selection of English / West European fare. I’m not sure that it would suit Asian tastes but it was perfect for me. There are plenty of other options nearby in Wigmore Street if you don’t want to eat in-house.

In summary, an excellent choice for a tourist in the West End.

The hotel location is perfect. Great hospitality, clean rooms and traditional breakfast - everything is there to have an excellent stay in the heart of London. The only minor problem is that the upper floor is rather hot in summer weather and there is no proper ac.

Just a two minute walk from Oxford Street, the Mandeville has location on its side. It’s a comfortable boutique hotel with a friendly staff. But the room which was billed as ‘superior’ didn’t live up to that description. It was small & definitely chilly. The heating/air conditioner unit was noisy & didn’t do much to warm the room up. Having stayed in other similar hotels in that part of London, I know there are better choices out there.

The hotel is very well located in Maylebone area, just 3 minutes to Selfridges and other shopping street like Bond Street. The worst reception I have ever received. Travelled all around the world and got early check in and no need for deposit. They refused to check me in for these reasons. Useless staff members. Do not care about customer service. Not helpful or supportive. For the price I paid per night, nothing was worth it. Looks like a three star hotel. The only polite member are the doorman and the concierge. Hated the hotel.
I don’t care if the rooms were alright and the bathroom were clean, it’s all about customer service in hospitality.

The hotel was amazing, it was immaculate and was decorated beautifully. The rooms were always clean and the beds were very comfortable, but I thought the waitressing staff could be quite rude and as a result of me being there with a company. I felt they wanted to exclude us from the ‘real’ guests and rush us out of the dining room as fast as possible. As well as that, when I arrived I was unsure if I had a roommate, as I was charged the full £50 pound probationary money, as well as being told it wouldn’t exit my bank account, which it did. The next day I learnt my roommate had also being charged £50. I don’t know if this was a genuine error or a purposeful act, considering some people hadn’t being charged at all for their stay. I was also told the money would go straight back into my bag, however I am still waiting.

I stayed here about 5 years ago, and I remember loving the hotel, its location, and the room comforts. Forward 5 years, my son now 11 and us 2 adults opted for an executive room, which was perfect. For London this was a good and spacious size, 2 rooms, and a sofa bed in the 2nd. Liked the modern bathroom, a 2nd toilet and sink, liked 2 televisions in each area, loved the coffee and tea making facilities, loved the light flooding in on the 8th floor room. Loved the breakfast area and the choice of breakfast. The staff were fantastic., friendly and efficient. I think the location A stone’S throwaway from selfridges cannot be BeaT. The only negative about this hotel is a very poor roomservice menu. This I would improve. And quite thin walls, we could hear everything going on in the next room. Our neighbour cried a lot and her mother/friend kept consoling her. We heard it all. Oh, and top Wi-Fi 👌👌👌. The price is unreal for London, one of the cheapest we found for a superb quality 4star hotel. I woulD stay here again! Loved it.

My first stay here and I was impressed. Great location and very nice room. We had a deluxe room on floor 4 and it was very pleasant. Nice to be able to open the windows & let in some natural air. The hotel came and did a turn down service whilst we were out to dinner, which is always a nice touch. I thought the room was quiet, given that we were in central London. All of the staff were really polite and helpful. Lovely bar area - had a nice buzz early evening. Breakfast was ok - lots of choice, buffet style.

The room and hotel overall was beautiful. It just felt like it was the small touches that were overlooked. Given the price, service could have been better. Room booking was cancelled without notice through the website even after credit card details had been updated and had to be chased up several times over phone and email. It was eventually sorted in the end but it didn't leave a great first impression. You want staff to go the extra mile for you. The breakfast was a bit basic. Tables were cramped and a bit like a mid range cafééé rather than a high end hotel restaurant. Price didn't include proper coffee, only filtered. Being in London there were much better options elsewhere for breakfast. Internet was too slow to do any meaningful work. Other than those points however, it was a great place. Love the location just a short walk away from Bond street station. Bathroom was also great and well designed. Thumbs up for the proper hairdryer too :)
.

This is my favourite hotel in London. Very comfortable, great staff, fantastic location.
In fashionable and quiet Marylebone but very close to Oxford Street and Mayfair. The rooms are very comfortable, with very good Wi-Fi. There's a great bar, which I only discovered on my 3rd visit.

We stayed here 1 night and the expedience is quit horrible. We arrived and They gave us a really Strange room (i’m guessing the last one available) because the room was badley planed because when you Where sittning at the bed you could not see the television. You had to stand up to watch television and for me This is the first time I have ever seen that!
so We asked to change and They gave is probably the smalast room in the hotel Where the television was almost on the bed. And the room was Long and narrow so you could hardly Walk in there.
The bed was the hardest bed I have ever tryed (work up every houer to turn) and I gave up at 5.30 in the morning and took a shower. My mum who I was travelling with had the same problem.

Would I come back? absolutely No!
Would I recommend This hotel? No No and no.
