After many many years this great local has now closed to be demolished and probably become another block if flats. Shameful. It's in a very good location for local restaurants to have a good night out with friends and family and if you go a little too far you could stay in their own motel.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and considering how many complaints they were dealing with were very patient. Breakfast was hot and quite varied.
Disliked: The room was a disgrace, absolutely filthy and had a terrible odour. The windows did not close and the shower was feeble. After complaining and asking for the room to be cleaned we decided to put up with it for the one night. The final insult being woken at 6:20am by a false alarm on the fire system. Terrible hotel.

Disliked: No kettle no tea bags, miss mash of cups, room was fair too hot, didn't feel plug sockets were safe. Doors need something to stop them banging (really loud when left to shut) house keeping let themselves in without knocking 1st on check out day.

Liked: Bed was so comfortable could have slept the whole day. Breakfast was nice. Nice to be able to park close to the room. Only 5 minutes (2 stop) bus ride or 15 - 20 minutes walk to Osterley underground then about 30 - 45 into the city.
Disliked: Ok to be fair we paid for the room as a special, but it was very cold, and the parts of the hotel we saw need a lot of tender loving care, real shame. At breakfast once 9.30 comes be prepared for the staff to start to clear your table.

Liked: The staff were very nice and warm but could and would not resolve any major issues. Due to hotel being full.
Disliked: They do not cater for guest at the weekend. No hot food or restaurant available. And for 3 cups of tea and three day old dry sandwiches at the hotel bar cost a extortionate 16 ! The bedroom was tired old and dirty. The bathroom was dirty The double bed was knackered springy, when sleeping the top half of your body fell into 1 of many dips in the mattress and your feet raided at least half a meter off the old spring box and planks of wood. Total rip off was not worth 85 per night 1 star accommodation and not value for money

Liked: Sheets and towels were very clean and staff helpful
Disliked: No evening food served over the weekend Fri to Sunday which meant we had to go out in the cold windy night. The bathroom had no heating and the plastic cups which didn't match, soap dish etc. Were filthy and there was mould around the very dated walls and window (again in the bathroom). Then on Saturday evening we walked over to wait for a taxi in reception and went to the bar to have a pre evening drink and a group of people came in and continued the pyramid sales course that they had been having in another room. The leader was telling them to make appointments via the telephone which they proceeded to do. This made my husband and I feel very uncomfortable and oppressed as area not very big. We took our drinks out to reception area where the manager was and told her what was going on and she went to tell them to stop but when she came back they continued. We had booked this hotel as was handy for party we were attending on Saturday evening but would never do so again

Liked: The hotel was very dirty. The television was not working, the bed was uncomfortable, the room was cold, no Wi-Fi in the room, bad hospitality, little knowledge and also inexperienced staff. I had a small child and luggage. And found them very unhelpful and more worried about money than providing good customer service. I was only offered 50 refund even though I paid in the hotel not online regardless of vat and then adviced to contact bookings.com because I arranged the booking through them but I didn't pay online at all. Very dodgy never ever will I return to this place.

so bad. Filthy room. Bathroom had cobwebs. Dirty carpet. Bar dated. Shower was cold. Water pressure terrible. We heard locally that this hotel is due to be demolished next year. Not before time! It was the worse hotel if you can call it that I've ever stayed in.

Nice hotel, clean but a bit outdated. In the room the ceiling was very shabby like there had been a leak and it had been roughly patched up. Not enough tea/coffee for the room and when I asked reception if I could have some more milk, they said they had run out - Really! I had not been notified beforehand of the ?5 overnight parking which I thought was a rip off as you are a guest. Other than that, clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable, shower very hot and plenty of towels.

Disliked: The staff on Saturday night were obnoxious, unhelpful, not very nice at all. Rooms were dark & not very updated with poor shower. Very limited time for breakfast only until 9.30 and no food was there at 9.15 with no bar open after 10.30pm not how to run a "Hotel". Very noises from aeroplanes too

Disliked: There was no ironing facilities available which was not great when I needed to be a business meeting the following morning. The room still had the previous occupants used soap on the side of the bath and also a very large dead spier in the middle of the bedroom floor.

Disliked: The bathroom was in a very poor state indeed. Couldn't use shower as switch to turn on was missing and shower head would not stay in place. We had to have a wash down at sink. Wouldn't use bath as didn't have "grab handles" to assist in getting in and out. Bathroom in need of total refurbishment. We had a triple room and the beds would not suit a large or tall person as were quite small. Would not recommend to others nor use again.

This hotel is dated and is on the Heathrow flight path. However if you need an inexpensive bed for the night and can stand a bit of hardship it is ok. I stayed in one of the single rooms and had a decent nights sleep on a comfortable bed in a decent room - there was even a large bath. This is a hotel which is best for contractors and others who just want the basics, if you are going on hols or have a young family or want 3*+ standards don't go there, its not for you, you won't enjoy your stay and will just end up moaning to the staff about something or other and you won't get the good night's sleep you wanted.

We managed to get a good deal for bed and breakfast. The room was huge. The decoration and furnishings were very tired though. The shower constantly dripped which caused a puddle on the floor. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant and polite.

Disliked: Absolutely dreadful. If I hadn't of paid up front I would have walked. No hot water in shower, room filthy, on the flight path to Heathrow With aircraft flying over every minute until early hours and then starting again at 6 am. The room was 27dregres with a poxy fan too swirl the hot air around But best of all slept on the floor as the mattress springs had gone.

I have stayed a few times at the Master Robert and have always been reasonably satisfied but on this occasion I was disappointed. I was given a twin room to start with, which I didn't want. Then they gave me another room which I entered only to find people's clothes etc all over the room. I was eventually given a third room which in my opinion was grubby. The bath was dirty and not what I have been used to when I stay away. One of the extension leads had sparks coming out of it when I plugged a device in ( I told the receptionist about being a health hazard. Lastly the food was very poor and only warm. sorry Master Robert you will not be getting my service again.

Disliked: I would not recommend this hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights from 10th August. It is supposed to be a 3 star establishment. Resident parking is through a security barrier but you still have to pay a charge of ?5.00 per night. If you then spend over ?10 each day in their restaurant this is refunded. But as only residents can go through the barrier why are you charged for parking in the first place. To gain access to the bedroom block there was a unit to swipe your key card to open the door. But this was broken and the door was open. The stair carpet to the first floor was dirty and was not cleaned during our stay Room 515 was extremely hot and we had to use a fan all night to make it bearable. Because of the flight path for London Airport it was very noisy with the windows open. The valances on the beds were dirty, with hair and dust clinging to both of them. We dined the first night in the hotel restaurant. We ordered a starter and steak salad to follow. We were served with both courses at the same time. The waiter did not understand that we did not want the main course until we had finished the starter course. He took the steaks back to the kitchen. I expected these to be replaced with new steaks or at least kept hot. When we had finished the starter and got the main course it was the same steaks now only warm. We could not finish them as they got cold. There was a Guinness pump attached to the bar but I was told that Guinness draught had never been available it was only there for show! The following morning we went down for breakfast at about 8.30am. Breakfast was available from 7.00 am, this meant that hot food was placed in the server at that time, by 8.30am it was no Longer hot. The hash browns were barely warm, as were the mushrooms and the sausages. The fried eggs were not soft. When I was younger and in a hotel with my parents I was made to sit at thje table and not move around getting into other peoples way.
