It was the second time I stayed here. Location is just 5 minutes walk from the\nTerminal. From my room I had a view to the apron - but it was not\u2019t noisy. The stuff is very helpful and friendly. Nice bar with limited bar menu. 2 restaurants. \n\nFitness and Pool needs refurbishment but it was as ok for use. The hotel in general is a little worn out. Breakfast is great - buffet and all what you need, eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh fruits, Joghurt, salmon etc. And all sorts of coffee. Great value for 12, 95 (if booked at check-in). Worth spending the money.\n\nI would use it again once in the area.

Paid for a 1 night stay and 6 days parking as was flying out to rimini for a family holiday. First impressions upon arrival are great as you walk in the hotel looks really grand but that son wore off as we was met by an extremely rude member of staff that was really abrupt. We booked a runway view for our little boy only to find a big hanger and no view of anything. After going back down to ask to be moved a really helpful girl tried to accommodate us and moved us further down to which we could now see the planes get boarded but that was really as good as the runway view gets. Don't be fooled or pay extra for this it's a con. Bar staff again really rude don't acknowledge you stood there then when served make you feel like you shouldn't be there or that your putting them out. Went down for breakfast they tried to charge us \u00A34.50 more than we was told it was because we hadn't paid for it on arrival. Personally I think that's really bad. After kicking off about it she did it for the advertised price which shows there just trying it on to squeeze more money out of people. Breakfast itself was really poor don't bother I've had better roadside breakfasts for half the price. Same with the evening meal staff really rude again shocking prices for terrible food. When we left in the morning a member of staff asked to me to fill out a small section for car parking and to leave a key after dropping leaflet and key back off to another staff member she started shouting at me because I hadn't filled out entire form which I was told not to do. Upon arrival back 6 days later to collect car was much of the same and are now waiting for a possible parking fine as I've read other posts of people parking out front to load luggage into vehicles and getting a \u00A3100 fine even though the guy I dealt with told me it ok to do that even though they advertise to park your car and return it for you which they don't! I won't be paying this if it arrives in the post not a chance. We paid \u00A3200 I dealt with at least 8 members of staff throughout our stay which other than 2 were rude and abrupt. I never expect much at hotels just pleasant staff a reasonable room and ok food. Raddison blue didn't meet any of this it's horrendous. Stay well clear you have been warned.

Stayed for one night, got there and was great all night. Lovely room. Bit of damage on one of the lights but I didn\u2019t mind.\n\nHowever, went to bed and started to hear occasional knocking sounds and what sounded like bits and pieces around the hotel being dropped. For example I could hear things being knocked over, pens and items on my desk very clearly being picked up and dropped and rolled around. Something also \u201Cknocked\u201D on my bedside table 3 knocks as if it was a door and again this happened on the bathroom door. When I woke up in the morning there appeared to be items moved around ect. Never experienced anything like this before! Concluded the room is haunted. Probably just that one room though. \n\nThis was on the top floor, if anyone has experienced something similar I\u2019d be interested to hear! Never experienced anything like it!

Tired rooms. Lousy bar & restaurant service but good food. No one really seemed interested. We certainly weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay. Its convenient to walk across to the terminal but I won't be staying there again.

The hotel is perfectly placed for the airport and guests are able to use the gym at no extra cost. The room was clean and modern and the lobby area with wine tower is impressive. However, the restaurants and bar are woefully understaffed. I can see this has been a common complaint for several months which is a shame. I also got no answer when I called reception looking for a wakeup call and there was no one on the checkout desk when I left at 6am - but there was a Long queue of people waiting to check in. All in all, I would probably stay again but really hope they take on the feedback about appropriately staffing the place!

We had an early morning departure from the airport so we decided to not get up at 0330 to get to here find parking and meet our flight. We were greeted by a friendly staff and then had dinner at the bar. We were treated like family by Kristina and the guys at the bar. A wonderful meal and relaxing atmosphere. With a leisurely stroll to the terminal seriously only 4 minutes away. What a way to start or end a vacation. Thanks Kristina for your patience and kindness we will be back!

Ideally positioned for the airport, especially if you have an early morning flight - or a late evening arrival. The room was a good size as was the bed. The bathroom was well furnished with bath and shower over and a selection of toiletries.

Great hotel to overnight before flying out the next morning. Very comfortable and a short stroll to terminal for departures. Restaurant options okay and bar area very nice made even better by the friendliness of the staff.

review: I stayed at the Stansted SAS travelling through London in July and again in August. Its an outstanding sanctuary after putting up with the stress and pace of air travel. Once inside the door of the hotel, you feel all the rush of the day leave. The rooms are outstanding, services are THE best. I wish I lived closer because I would go there muh more often just for some relaxation. This place is well worth the stay, I can promise you this.
