Should have gone with the poor reviews on hostelworld. \n\nShowers are falling apart/too small\nThere is 1 single male toilet next to my room that is shared by dozens that live in the same block. Always occupied, if vacant its dirty. (Sparing you the details)\n\nThey will charge you for everything:\n\nTowels: 4\u00A3\nlockers: 5\u00A3\nAdapter: 6\u00A3\nShampoo, Conditioner. The list goes on.\n\nAll of which was free to use at wombats hostel by the way.\n\n2 Guiness cost me 11\u00A3 - at a hostel Bar! Local bar next door 9\u00A3.\nNo happy hour - every hostel has a happy hour?! \n\nUnstable Wi-Fi where you have to reconnect every 30 minutes having to put all your details over and over again.\n\nMy verdict: for the 40+\u00A3/night in a 8bed dorm + all the hidden extra costs this hostel is definitely not worth its money. Also: don't come here if you want to chill a bit. It's a 24/7 party hostel.\n\nsome positives: Pedro and Emma from reception were standouts. Very professional customer service. Witnessed Pedro dealing with a difficult young man that I wouldn't have wanted to deal with (im from the industry). He managed it like a pro.\n\nThe location is really convenient.\n\nWouldn't stay here again but make up your own mind.

We are glad you\u2019re as happy with our Generator stuff and the main location as we are always make sure that we\u2019re in the right place at the right time, we are just a few minutes walk to St. Pancras International and to main bus and train stations. Sorry to hear that you didn't find our property being good value for money. We always try to offer great experience at competitive prices. We are currently in the process of refurbishing our common areas and our rooms too, we will have new power outlets-usb portals, and many more. Hello, \nsorry for the issues you had with the rooms. We know hot times are ahead and if the ac is not good enough we have small fans which we give out to guests in case they need a little bit of extra cooling down aid. We try to keep everything as quiet as possible during the nights. You didn't say what kind of noise did you experience but if you would like to continue this conversation we are here ready to discuss. Booked in online, was told one price then paid another once I arrived., was thrown into a room with people who fondled with my belongings, had their friends up on my sleeping arrangement just hanging out, were then asked to get off and was told no, \nStaff couldn\u2019t even speak basic English, washing facilities both laundry and bathroom were complete filth, was then locked out of my room with my belongings still in there, asked to get them out and was told to wait for a staff member who took their sweet ass time, once arrived, then challenged me asking to enter my suitcase and to describe contents. \nNot happy and will most probably never return, not a chance of a recommendation to anyone who\u2019s looking for hostels, stayed once prior and this time was no where near as good of service or standards. \nInternet pricing and in-house pricing are totally different, 2/10 and that\u2019s me being generous.
