Advance booking guests will receive a form setting out all their requirements such as the options for the likes of an exercise bike, Humidifier, yoga mat, neck support pillow, bed board, romantic turndown service (candles and rose petals), Swiss chocolates and even personal interests and hobbies.
The 41 hotel features split level suites and a magnificent conservatory suite with a glass ceiling.
All rooms in the 41 are finished in eye-catching black and white fabrics with traditional mahogany furniture and each and every one is unique. The finest hand made mattresses and warm feather duvets will ensure a rested mind and body for the day ahead whilst 21st Century technology provides the perfect way for you to conduct business away from the office. Room facilities include direct dial phone (also in bathroom), interactive TV (on demand movies, music), fax (can connect to laptop via usb) and copy machine, Ipod docking station (Ipods available at reception) and WiFi and Ethernet internet access, hair dryers and air conditioning.
Some rooms have great views over the Royal Mews which is part of Buckingham Place and where horses can often be seen having their daily exercise.
Executive Hospitality Suites: Come with an interconnecting executive lounge able to host small meetings. There is also a separate dining area and additional guest bathroom. Bathrooms have separate bath and shower and have top brand toiletries. English Grill: Opulently designed with a rich royal theme of grandeur with polished silver, beautiful chandeliers and tailcoat waiters offering traditional service at its most welcoming. Experience the finest of dining with a glass wall which allows guests to catch some of the action taking place in the kitchen. Top quality cuts of meat grilled to perfection in the kitchens charcoal-fired Josper grill. Using the finest English produce and suppliers that serve the Queens kitchen, the dining experience is accompanied by an extensive wine list including a fine selection from Bouchard Finlayson, the 41 hotels sister vineyard in South Africa.
Bbar and restaurant: For something more exotic a variety of cocktails may be sampled in the trendy Bbar next door to the hotel, right next to the door to the hotel reception. Serving everything from a Classic Martini to a Mojito or an inventive Champagne cocktail. The menu is international, but with a strong South African accent lent by dishes like Springbok fillet, Grilled Boerewors Sausages and Bobotie Spring Rolls. Serving 110 wines (over 50 by the glass) from an eclectic list of old and new world producers. 60 cocktails, from the classics to the more exotic, while the warm and relaxed service creates an invitingly intimate atmosphere.
Leopard Champagne & Cocktail Bar: Adjacent to 41 Hotel and overlooking the Royal Mews is this bar. Actually part of The Rubens at the Palace, the adjoining sister hotel. Designed in elegant safari-chic, this haven of style is perfect for celebrations or conversations in a warm, inviting and exclusive environment. Serves the finest selection of Champagnes by the bottle and the glass as well as a selection of whiskies, cognacs, armagnacs and fine wines, together with light dishes, including Sevruga Caviar.
The hotel also has a meeting room with extensive facilities for up to 10 guests.
