Out to the west of London close to the River Thames is the Chiswick Moran. This part of London has some good shopping areas along places such as Chiswick High Road and just north along King Street at Hammersmith. Some 20 minutes drive from the most central areas but very convenient for Heathrow also about 20 minute s drive away. The hotel itself is contemporary with a  slightly retro style, not quite the contradiction it sounds. Bedrooms are air conditioned and have LCD TV's with PPV and high speed internet. There's an onsite restaurant and separate bar and there's even a gymnasium onsite.
