HOTEL RATING: 5 STAR

The Hotel Babylon in London is a fictitious hotel which was the name of a book by Imogen Edwards-Jones and also made into a BBC TV series which ran from January 2006. The filming never actually used any hotels that exist in London but was made in a former distribution warehouse in Buckinghamshire. Production Designer Paul Cross first visited a range of London hotels in the luxury and boutique market and based the Hotel seen in the series on a collection of bits of around 4 different hotels.
