The hotel closed its doors for the final time on December 31 2006.
The Regent Palace Hotel, one of the largest in London, is located by Piccadilly Circus in the heart of London's West End. A large number of the major attractions and landmarks of the capital are close by to this central location. In the surrounding area you will find Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Regent Street, Soho, Buckingham Palace and Chinatown . Built in 1914 (opened May 16 1915) the Regent Palace hotel the standard guest rooms share bathroom facilities in a unique, sanitary setup. The Regent rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms while standard rooms have shared facilities. Room facilities include a colour television, radio, direct-dial telephone, washbasin and tea & coffee making facilities. For shared facilities there are shower/bathroom complexes on each floor that are personally serviced 24 hours a day by attendants who provide soap and freshly laundered towels. Onsite there is an Irish Bar and a Cafe near the hotel lobby serving a range of speciality coffees, teas, snacks and pastries. Room service is also available via the Café. A Continental and English breakfast buffet is available to guests between 7.00hrs and 10.00hrs daily. The hotels location means there are plenty of dining options in the surrounding area.
