Its a common question to
ask as to which are the best budget hotels at Heathrow Airport. Well in terms of
number of hotels and average customer reviews Premier Inn are top of most
lists. Along with
Travelodge they
are the main players in the budget chain sector across the UK. Currently they have four main options.
The newest of these options
closest to the airport is the
Premier Inn Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.

This
hotel is located to the west of the airport pacing it closet to terminal 5.
A free public service runs from close to the hotel to terminal 5 while paid
shuttle services run to the other terminals. Also keep in mind that
travel
between any of the terminals is free using buses or the Heathrow Express
links. The benefits of choosing this Heathrow Premier Inn is clearly its
proximity and links o terminal 5. It also sits adjacent to the leisure
centre with gym facilities and a swimming pool. The hotel itself has a
restaurant where you have the option of dining outdoors. Its location is a
village area with local pubs within half a mile. This is something of a
contrast to most of the hotels around Heathrow Airport that sit on the busy
section of the Bath Road (A4).

The
original Premier Inn for the airport was actually the
Premier Inn
Heathrow (Bath Road) which started life as the Travel Inn London
Heathrow back in 2003. Closest to the main central area of terminals 2 and 3 and served by the
Heathrow hoppa
to all terminals. On the main hotel strip but to the east of most of the
hotels. Benefits from being 0.3 miles of the
Heathrow
bowling alley and 400 yards from the White Heart pub.

The best choice for road access back into central London would be the
Premier Inn Heathrow M4/J4. As you will realise by its name the hot sits
right alongside the M4 motorway which means you can take the freeway right
into Chiswick where it merges with the A4 for the rest of the journey into
central London. Its also very convenient for the main central areas of
Heathrow Airport (terminals 2 and 3) as it is linked by road to the Heathrow
approach road. Also sits alongside the Stockley Park business park.

The
Premier Inn
Hayes is perhaps very slightly misleading when being classed as a Heathrow
Premier Inn as it sits just under 4 miles away, but its easily reached by
road using the A312 dual carriageway. There's no shuttle serving the hotel but is worth considering as it
sits opposite a McDonalds restaurant and its own sister Beefeater
restaurant/pub. Parking available.
In a similar vein is the
Premier Inn Sunbury (Kempton Park).
Not actually right by the airport but only 3 miles to the south of terminal
4, so does make a good alternative option if you are travelling via terminal
4 and/or using Kempton Racecourse as the hotel is only half a mile from the
racecourse. This hotel also sits oppiste a small group of shops and stores
and there is some leisure options in the surrounding areas such as at
Feltham.
