A striking modern building houses the privately owned boutique style Icon Hotel.The hotel describes its guestrooms as being über-cool in design and décor.
Bedrooms have a range of options from standard to executive. Whichever you choose you will find an en-suite bathroom (power shower, robes on request, toiletries provided), Plasma television, lwork desk, aptop size safe, ironing board, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, phone with voicemail. Additionally guests benefit from an adjustable air conditioning and heating system and a free wireless internet access. A touch of high-tech comes with the digital 'do not disturb' and 'make up room' buttons.
Some rooms come with a wet room. Deluxe rooms come with bath and shower.

Within the hotel is Capello's Restaurant and piano lounge with a bistro style. 60 seat capacity serving Italian cuisine with a British twist with dishes freshly prepared. Afternoon tea and cocktails are served here and if the weather allows there's accompanying music from the Baby Grand Piano on the terrace.
Open: 07.00 till 10.00 (weekends from 08.00), noon till 14.30 (closed weekends), 18.30 till 21.45 (Sunday till 21.00).

This means you are on top of the main shopping thoroughfares (a minutes walk away) of the town and notably just 350 yards from the Andale covered shopping mall which marks the heart of Luton town centre (the main areas being pedestrianised). Within 1/3rd of a mile is the Galaxy Centre Leisure Complex (multi cinema screens, restaurants and bar) while places of interest such as Stockwood Country Park is just over half a mile away and the Mossman Collection of carriages i under a mile away. Luton also has its own casino. Many guests to the hotel will be using it as a convenient stopover for transfers to and from Luton Airport. The airport is just under 2 miles away to the east which is a little over 10 minutes drive by car in normal traffic.
