History:
Was called the Travelodge Uxbridge central till 2022.Newly opened in August 2008 after being the first building to pioneer a new cheaper construction method. Modules or pods (ready made sections of the hotel) were imported from China with each module being bolted together to form the complete building which is then cladded on its exterior. The complete building can be unbolted in the same way and reassembled elsewhere.
