Refurbishment in 2013 reduced the total number of bedrooms from 214 to 189 and moved the main entrance to the rear of the building. Became a Doubletree by Hilton hotel on June 6th 2013under a franchise agreement with Westmont Hospitality and underwent a £10 million pound refurbishment. Was a Ramada Jarvis Hotel until 2012. was a 3 star hotel until being taken over by Doubletree.
