Hotel in Detail:The Artist Residence London is a 10 bedroom 5 floor Regency Terrace building and a boutique hotel that opened in 2014 (was previously The Clarendon Pub which dated right back to 1852). The hotel has a very individual and trendy feel with a true personal service and every bedroom has its own individual design. How appropriate that renowned designer Laura Ashley once lived on the same road. Extensive use of open brickwork has been used in the design.

style with genuine vintage furnishings, limited edition prints and rustic wooden floors. Each guest room benefits from air conditioning, safe, sound proofing, complimentary wireless internet access, flat screen television, armchair, telephone, wardrobe, fully
stocked fridge, tea and biscuits and coffee machine. Beds have a thick duvet.
Bathrooms have designer fittings, giant fluffy towels, a powerful rain effect shower with marble or restored tiles and bath or shower. Some rooms have a freestanding bath.
Daily maid service.
The Artist Residence Hotel includes the award winning 48 seat capacity 64 degrees restaurant and hip cocktail bar in
the basement. There are two explanations currently as to where the restaurants name originated. One explanation is that it is from an incident in which Michael Brennans (who created the restaurant) bath was
once stuck at that temperature. The other is that it means precision since this is the temperature you cook an egg at. Signature dish is spiced chicken wings with blue cheese and dehydrated.
The restaurant was created with a social dining concept and while meals are served eclectic music plays. The design of the restaurant means that there is interaction between diners and the chefs as
the open kitchen as right by the long bar. The restaurant also serves breakfast.
The hotel also has a separate lounge area which is light, airy and cosy and where you can relax with a drink or snack.
