The St James Hotel and Club first opened as a gentlemans chamber for the English aristocracy in 1892. Today this luxury Town House Hotel with a striking red neo-gothic facade and maze like feel provides intimate and elegant accommodation to the discerning guest. Throughout you will find 20th-century art, including the 1920s-50s Rosenstein Collection.

Many of the bedrooms have their own balcony and views over St James's. The penthouse suite features a large roof top terrace. All bedrooms are finished with handmade silk wallpaper in soft neutrals, black lacquered furniture, handcrafted Murano glass chandeliers, polished natural stones and chrome glass fittings in the bathroom. All the mattresses are handmade from Hypnos and beds have luxurious bedding. Amenities include an Ipod dock, safe, telephone, hairdryer, robe and slippers, luxury toiletries, complimentary wireless internet access, minibar, VDA multimedia system with music and videos, air-conditioning and flat screen television. The Bar and Restaurant feature silk and cashmere wall coverings, black lacquer tables, velvet armchairs and huge pale green vases.
Seven Park Place Restaurant: 30 seat capacity. The restaurant is divided into two areas, one of which is separated from the kitchen by a glass screen, enabling diners to watch chefs in action. Range of dishes which are are modern-French in style but using mostly British ingredients. The contemporary style restaurant makes use of the best seasonal ingredients from specialist suppliers. Serves traditional afternoon tea between 15.00 and 17.00.
