Confusingly for some time in 2015 the hotel was also being advertised as The Piccadilly by Montcalm. In November 2015 the hotel changed its name from the Shaftesbury Premier London Piccadilly. Name changed in January 2015 when Best Western was dropped from the hotel name. Formerly the Best Western Premier Soho (pre-2005). Has also been called the Best Western Shaftesbury and the Shaftesbury Piccadilly in the early 2000's.
