Joined the Park Grand hotels group in 2015 and was re-classified as a 5 star hotel upgraded from its previous 4 star rating. Was the The Piccadilly London West End until 2023 when Montcalm was added to its name. Confusingly for some time in 2015 the hotel was also being advertised as The Piccadilly by Montcalm. In November 2015 the hotel changed its name from the Shaftesbury Premier London Piccadilly. Name changed in January 2015 when Best Western was dropped from the hotel name.
