Hotel in Detail:Although The Trafalgar St. James Hotel (a Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel) is a modern and contemporary hotel, the building itself dates way back and it retains the original listed facade. The square of course is famous for the towering Nelsons Column, its fountain and the National gallery on its north side. Traffic no longer is allowed on the North side giving far more freedom to the visitors. There also cafes within the square itself. Just North of the square is Regent Street with its large selection of shops, bars, restaurants and boutiques.
