the four Grand Slam Tennis Tournaments. The other well known landmark in
Wimbledon is Wimbledon Common. In total Wimbledon Common covers an are in
excess of 1140 acres with amenities that include a Golf course, Cricket

and other amenities including the aptly named Centre Court Shopping Centre.

SW19 is to the South of London and on the other side of the River Thames to

is also notable for having one of the ugliest buildings in the UK. The Colliers Wood Tower
was voted the UK's ugliest building in a BBC poll in 2006. At one time
the area had the largest supermarket in Europe thanks to the Savacentre
supermarket and it is still one the largest in Europe.
