The Alma Hotel is based around its origins as a traditional London pub now with the addition of 23 guests rooms on the upper floor. The bathroom is supplied with luxury toiletries and fluffy bathrobes and, in some of the rooms, a standalone bath. Wireless internet is provided free of charge. Beds are covered with Egyptian sheets. Room service is offered. Access to rooms is with a keycard. There is hotel controlled air–conditioning in each room. Note however that this will not work with the windows open.Help is on hand 24 hours from the hotels concierge and 24 hour reception.
Located at the rear of the pub itself is the hotel's restaurant and is separate to the bar. Serving
seasonal classic pub and modern gastropub dishes using local produce where possible and furnished with antique furniture. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Serves a Sunday roast. You can also eat in the bar itself.
Hotel offers a laundry service, fax and photocopy, trouser press and luggage storage. Safety deposit boxes are available.

Hotel Vicinity:
Nearest: Railway Station: Wandsworth Town 88 yards (80 metres), Tube Station: East Putney 1 miles (1.6 km), Motorway: M4 Junction 1 4.4 miles (7.1 km).Just 200 yards from Wandsworth Bridge makes The Alma Hotel a decent option for a budget hotel with good links to central London. The hotel is just on the southern side of the River Thames which cuts London in half, creating the north south divide. The main tourist areas are on the northern half but The Alma is only a mile and half from central areas such as the upmarket district of Kensington and Chelsea and the famous Kings Road. The hotel is brilliantly placed for the rail network (as opposed to the tube network) as it sits directly opposite Wandsworth Road Station which is part of the London Overground system. This will allow you to connect to the tube system via Clapham North Station to the south or West Brompton Station to the north. Alternatively you could walk the 1 mile to East Putney tube station or take a taxi which would be just a 5 minute ride. The hotel also benefits from being at the end of a road that has a range of small shops including bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Well placed for Battersea heliport which is just 3/4 of a mile behind York Road. Nearest attractions include Fulham Palace (1.5 miles), Carlyles House (1.7 miles) and Earls Court Exhibition centre (2 miles). Wimbledon Tennis Championships are held just over 2 miles to the south. There is a health club and gym close by.
